Ok, I read about the Crocs, became convinced and now DF have been spotted sporting them around our neighbourhood. They're lovely!

Now, what is up with Baggalini bags??? I must have missed the post! :confused3 Convince me?!

Me too! :confused3

Somebody, please enlighten us! :teacher:

I'm sure you'll get lots of positive opinions.....but I'll throw mine in first ;)

I had heard so many good things I just knew this was THE bag for me. Seems like I'm always looking for the "perfect" bag for my trips. I even tried a fanny pack in Feb. Hated it. So onward to the Baggalini. First looks, I was impressed. Nice pockets, not too many, not too few. Organizers in the front pocket, nice. Large inner pocket...just right for what I wanted it for...to carry my cameras. Even a document pocket in the rear. Mesh pocket on the side for a water bottle and a velcro pocket on the side for my oh so cool shades (ok at 40, something has to be cool about me, right?). Material is easy to clean. So far I'm loving it. Not liking the color I picked but I never do. I always second guess myself. I wish I would have gotten lime green but my family is starting to make fun of me with my lime green stuff. Ok, sorry for the side track. Here's what I don't like.....I started to use it and it rides funny on me. The straps are extremely wide (oh yes, I can't forget the pocket on the strap for the cell phone I MUST always have on me so I can be on call to my family 24/7). And the buckle is heavy. The strap cuts into my neck. Now it could be it rides so funny on me because I am, let's say, very ample in the chest area. I find it very uncomfortable and hard to access my things while it's riding on my back. If I need my camera in a hurry because of how adorable and precious my children are ( :lmao: ) it's hard to get to it in a hurry.

I've recently purchased a LL Bean messanger bag and I'm going to try both out on my trip to NC next week. Maybe I'll have different views then.

Sorry, this probably wasn't much help.

I'll throw in my .02 cents here. :)

I bought a lovely purple one before my trip last week, very cute. However, I hated it after a couple days at the park. It's too, ummm, floppy or something. I found it hard to access my camera from quickly. It also seemed that no matter how much I tightened the strap it loosened quite a bit throughout the day, it was like I was always adjusting it.

If my Mom doesn't want it I'll be selling it on here for $5. ;)

I bought a lime green one that I was going to use on my Sept. trip but I am going to put it on ebay. I am extra pooh sized and it doesn't hang well on me. Oh well! Others swear by them so I guess you never know, of course I know people that hate crocs so who knows!

I haven't used mine for Disney yet, but I did use it on my annual Memorial Day vacation. (I don't carry a camera, so having to access one is not a big deal. ) It held just enough for the day, and I wore it both on the hip and on my back. The strap pocket was perfect for keeping $ and ID so it was easily accessible. I would recommend it, but not buying it before trying. I had many doubts about how it would fit and eded up buying it at the local luggage store after trying it on.

It gets my vote anyday!

I ordered a khaki one for our upcoming trip. I have been using it on day trips around here to get use to it. So far I like it! I LOVE all the pockets.

Despite all the talk about how small the tiny pocket on the strap is..my phone fits in it! Which is great.

Here are the only things I don't like so far. The buckle is heavy as previously mentioned. Its like its an industrial strength buckle for an army belt or something!

Also on me it is big...when I try to adjust it down to a smaller size (the straps) its like it won't hold. It is perfect for my DH as it is though...but I would like to be able to adjust it down so it won't hang so low on my back.

Bottom line..I like it, its gonna be great for Disney..but its just a backpack.

I love mine.

I haven't used it at Disney yet, but I have been using it for a few weeks, both for going back & forth to work, and for sightseeing and a conference in Chicago (museums, shopping, walking a TON, restaurants, visiting with friends, attending conference sessions and expo, etc).

The strap is wider than I expected, but once I played with adjusting both sides of the strap and found just the perfect place around my big chest (had to fix that - didn't realize what I'd said was a 'bad word', it was modified) and big butt, it fell just right. I haven't had to adjust them anymore.

I had a much longer review typed out but I hit my mouse and it wiped out everything I'd typed. In general - I love the pockets/the size (fit my file folder with travel information, magazing and book for the flight in the big pocket which was unexpected - I didn't expect it to hold those so well without bending corners).

I ordered one and sent it back. I didn't like the way it hung on me and didn't like the bulkt strap across my chest. I ordered the Overland Donner bag and liked it much better.

I didn't like the idea of lugging a bag with a strap that went in between my breasts. Also, I read some pretty negative reviews on ebags about it. So, I bought a Healthy Back Bag (Ameribag) from LL Bean for 19.95 instead. I love it! It fits over one shoulder and has lots of great pockets.

I recently purchased one and am disappointed in the bag. I, too, am not able to get the straps to stay adjusted, very frustrating. I found the buckle to be very heavy, always hitting me in the wrong place. I am decidedly NOT ample up top and still the bag doesn't sit right on me. It's okay if you don't make use of all of the neat pockets -- fewer items seem to make the bag more comfortable -- but I bought it specifically so that I COULD carry everything comfortably. Overall, not really pleased as this bag isn't comfortable when fully loaded.

We purchased the Urban Backpack that can be worn over the shoulder or unzip the strap, clip the straps on separate rings and, viola you have a backpack! We put this bag to the test at the Renaissance Festival last month - loaded it with 3 water bottles, snacks, camera, and etc., it was stuffed and very heavy. I put it on and could hardly tell it was there - Wow! We'll be using this at WDW.

Here's a link, although ours was purchased at REI on a one-day sale for $16.95 and is a different color than those shown here. http://www.ebags.com/baggallini/urb..._nylon/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=47345 Be sure to click the different views as the initial picture does nothing for the bag. :wave2:

I looked online at the pictures of it and have a question... Is the inside pocket large enough to hold a video camera?
Thanks

Yes, I'm pretty sure. I have a medium sized digital camera that I was able to stuff in there, so as long as it's a camcorder, I'm guessing it should work.

Let me warn you..if you are....ahem...ample busted...(I am  ) this type of bag will not sit right on you, as it crosses across your chest. I do better with a standard backpack. If you use the mousesavers link to Ebags.com you will find some nice ones at good prices.

Okay, I'm shallow, but I think a huge part of the Baggalini's initial appeal is its availability in in our lime-green color!!! :goodvibes

And what's wrong with liking lime green?? :confused3 I have the Baggalini messenger bag listed here http://www.ebags.com/baggallini/mes..._nylon/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=18644 in LIME GREEN! I really like this bag. I use it for my purse and my 2 yo DS diapers and other stuffs while we're out. To me, it fits fine and feels comfortable. The amount of stuff I carry in it would almost equal what I plan to carry in at WDW. I am short and petite and I think it fits me fine. Sometimes I have a problem with things cutting my neck because I'm short waisted, but for me I  my Baggalini.

I would try to find one in a store, load it up with stuff and try it out!! Good luck with your bag search! :thumbsup2

I bought the messenger bag and have used it twice for Disney. I think I'm done with it. The buckle didn't really bother me and it hung just fine on me. My complaint is the credit card slots. (for tickets, credit cards, etc.) Each slot for these is so deep the card/ticket slips beyond visibility, making it harder to grab quickly. It also holds these cards pretty loosely. I was afraid they might slip out of those deep pockets and be found at the bottom of the bag! (didn't happen)

I just bought a Fossil wallet on a string and am using it next week. It holds my cell phone, camera, and the card slots are just right. It also has a sunglasses pocket. :smooth:

It won't fit a poncho, though, so I'll pull out the bagallini only if I have to.
