Bad Use of Disney Princesses Images?

Like most PSAs, the intent is great but the execution is lacking. I doubt anyone finds it offensive anymore than the "cartoon all-stars to the rescue" drug cartoon from the 90s.

What kind of an "artist" has to steal art images from another source? The artist claims to be inspired, however I feel that the inspiration should have extended to creating her OWN art.

How can this not be a copyright infringement? :confused3

This was my first thought when I saw this online a few days ago. While I understand the motive behind it I couldn't help but wonder how Disney would react to having their characters used in this way (assuming, which I am, that it's without Disney's permission)

I started looking all over to make sure I wasn't reading "the onion" or another fake news source, especially since the artist's name is "Saint Hoax". I have to think this is no more than an attention grab - use the uber-popular Disney image and do something outrageous with it. If his intentions are honest, I don't know whether it works as intended, but it sure does get your attention. I'd prefer a simple picture of a girl and a tag line, but I guess that wouldn't be as "shocking"

Guess you don't think Andy Warhol was an "artist" either.

You would think Disney would care, but they don't. Not sure why either. There is a group in the Middle East that uses their (Disney) costumes of Disney characters to promote hate, anti-Semitic "antics", etc and Disney hasn't shut them down after 7+ years. Some kids in the UK got the code and reopened Disney's online game VMK. The game is full of sexual discussion and cursing, yet using Disney's code, characters, images, etc and Disney allows it to go on. Perhaps they only get involved when they start losing money?
