I was wondering if the putt-putt course is free???

Chantal
Last year is was around 20.00 for our family of four to play all week. A few of the owners told me if you bring your own putter and ball it is free.

Since the remodel does the master in the 2 bedroom still have a jacuzzi tub in CP (not Grande)?

Does anyone know if the Cypress Pointe Grande has two twin beds in the second bedroom or if they have the trundle style?

I'm trying to work out sleeping arrangements for 3 adults, 13 male and 6 and 7 year old girls. It's just for one night so it's not really that big of a deal and we'll probably all just end up somewhere without a lot of problem ... but I'd like to have at least some idea what to expect.

Elaine, I just looked the Hotel Kingdom site and the Grand Villas list twin beds in the 2nd bedroom and a pull out sofa in the living room.

I'm wondering if anybody knows if there are hair dryers in the Grand Villas. We're staying two nights in April before our cruise and really don't want to bring my own. The CP web site also lists shuttle service to Universal. Does anybody have any information about this, such as price and schedule? We're renting a car, but plan on going to City Walk one night and might prefer the shuttle, especially after Margaritaville!!

Also, does anybody know what kind of children's activities they offer? The site lists planned children's activities.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks Tropicalgirl! From what I've read, I think CP may have done some remodeling and changed the twin beds in some units to one twin bed with a twin trundle that pulls out from beneath the bed ... still two beds, but one is very low to the ground. So technically it's still two twin beds, but I was just wondering if they were 'regular' twin style or if they would be trundle style.

It doesn't really matter ... and actually the girls would probably think a trundle was fun ... but I figure the other adult male in our party might prefer completely separate beds if he and my son share the twin bed room or if he and his daugher do ...

Who knows ... we'll all probably just be so ready to sleep that we won't care!

I made my reservation ... but the $70-ish villa at Cypress Pointe was no longer available since I waited over 24 hours and they had not e-mailed me back with a response to a simple question. So I went with the $95 Villa at the Cypress Pointe Grand Villas Disney. (From what I could tell it's a little closer to Disney maybe?) But in the 'comment' section of my on-line reservation, I asked if I could 'downgrade' to the other location if it became available. I don't know if they'll consider my request or not, but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask.

It's still less than two 'motel' rooms ... and probably much much nicer ...but it bugs me that waiting for them to respond to my e-mail has 'cost' me an extra $20. Oh well ... maybe a soak in the jacuzzi tub will make up for it?!?!? :rolleyes1

We stayed at CP not GV last summer. I'm not sure why you are thinking CPGV is closer to Disney as they are on the same property and you have to exit the same drive to go to Disney. Granted, they are both in my opinion VERY CLOSE to Disney but I wouldn't say one is closer. Just thought I would let you know. The jacuzzi is nice after a long day at the parks!
