Regal cinemas has switched over to Pepsi products. I guess it will be good news iif You are in the minority and would rather have Pepsi products. Change was recent as I was at the movies last week and it was coke, today it’s Pepsi. If yours hasn’t change it probably be changing soon.

I am not a Pepsi hater, but I do like Coke better. Thankfully there is an independent chain near me, so we have been seeing our movies there.

I don't drink sodas at a movie theater. Inevitably I'm going to have to go to the bathroom if I do. I might have a beer though.

I kind of wonder whatever happened to intermissions. I saw a 4 hour movie with an intermission. Once I saw a sub 3 hour movie where the theater threw in an intermission.

Didn't they used to be Pepsi years ago? I know I avoided them for some reason. I hate exclusive arrangements like this, why can't they be like a gas station, and just serve both brands?

Darn, we use Regal points toward popcorn and drinks.

When I lived in CA, I drank Pepsi, but could occasionally drink Coke. Now, I drink Coke (rarely, try to stay away from sugary drinks), but can’t drink Pepsi :crazy2:

The one time in a typical year I got to the movies, I drink water. I do prefer Coke over Pepsi, but RC is what we buy at home.

Phew........ I thought it was going to be another Coronavirus thread. ;) I love my diet coke but I have adapted as my casino only has Pepsi products.

Wow, where do you live? The 1970s? lol
LOL. I went to the movies about once a week in the 1970's. The industry is declining sharply.
Down 5% in 2019. https://www.indiewire.com/2019/06/movie-exhibition-distribution-future-1202152832/
Attendance was down 28 percent in 2018. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/movie-...rcent-this-year-but-not-because-of-streaming/
Movie attendance hit a 25 year low in 2017. https://www.theverge.com/2018/1/3/16844662/movie-theater-attendance-2017-low-netflix-streaming

I don’t eat/drink at the movies but if I did I’m good with Diet Pepsi, though I prefer Coke Zero Cherry.

Must be why a coke van was outside the theater the other day. Wasn't a delivery truck. Looked more like one that would repair or install the found equipment. I thought they were going to the freestyle machines. Guess not.

We don't have Regal here so no problems. I don't go to the movies but once or twice a year but when I do I go to a dine in one and usually have either water or a refreshing adult beverage.

Yay! Now I can stop smuggling in my Diet Pepsi in my purse's secret lining :)
Hopefully WDW goes back to Pepsi soon too

I'd say I'm glad, but I rarely get soda at the movies anyway - I hate to miss anything important running to the bathroom!

Really, though, I'm good with either brand group. I like Pepsi better better than Coke, but Sprite better than Sierra Mist, so I have a favorite either way.
