Bad news if you go to regal cinemas

Regal cinemas has switched over to Pepsi products. I guess it will be good news iif You are in the minority and would rather have Pepsi products. Change was recent as I was at the movies last week and it was coke, today it’s Pepsi. If yours hasn’t change it probably be changing soon.
Boo, hiss!!

Interesting- was at mine today and still a bunch of coke ads before the movie and come in their soda fountains.
Our regal has a bar so I’ll probably just get a beer instead now.

Our local theater has bottles & cans but I haven't priced them out. The theater I go to most often (an hour away) has a bar with draft beer and the cost is about the same as the local breweries (for the same beer). If I am going to spend $7 for a drink, I'd rather it be a nice craft beer than a soda.

Well, Hurricane Irma in 2017 severely harmed my local theater so they went though a very large remodel and opened last April. That remodel brought IMAX, 4DX and a bar! The draft beer ranges from 8 to 11 but the serving size is good for a movie. I learned to stay away from cocktails though as they always have to look at the recipe list and can’t seem to mix it well.

Drooling over all you folks mentioning beer at the movie theater, LOL.

Sure would have made enduring the kid movies back then much easier.

Silver lining, I won't be tempted to buy overpriced soda!

Even better news- I wont get the huge vat of liquid, which will end up with me needing to use the bathroom, but holding it uncomfortably for the last half of the movie. :D

I kind of wonder whatever happened to intermissions. I saw a 4 hour movie with an intermission. Once I saw a sub 3 hour movie where the theater threw in an intermission.

Never drink soda at all, so I'm fine, but I could totally get behind theaters bringing back intermissions. A bathroom break for the kids and a chance to go back and buy the snack you didn't think you wanted until you saw other people eating it. 😄 😉

Glad to hear this it’s about time. Count me in the hate coke folks. It may be the minority but tastes so much better

I saw Kenneth Branagh’s version of Hamlet. 4 hours long. The intermission was right where Shakespeare had it, which was 2 hours 45 minutes into the movie. I really had to go badly since if had coffee before I went in.

I was at Costco for the first time in ages a couple weeks ago and was disappointed the food court is now Pepsi instead of Coke. From Googling this is many years old, but I don't get to Costco much.

Sorry, but with all the things going on right now, who cares? Bring a can ok Coke and put it in your pocket.
