Bad news and good news

The bad news is that I HAD to have that dessert that I shouldn't have had, but the good news is that I am still doing ok with points and did the WATP 2-mile walk for the first time. Also went to Curves each day for the past 3 days, so I feel like I am getting back on track.

Yay CC! That is great news! Glad to hear you are sticking to your plan and you have such a positive attitude towards it!! :) Way to go!! Keep up the great work! :)
 
We just got a cruves near me. How do you like it. I have a tread mill at home and sometimes I jsut don't want to walk. I was wondering if i should join!!!!!!!!!!
 
I really like it. It is a social time too as the members are so friendly and I have become friends with the owner too. I really like that it is only 30 minutes, so I am door to door in 45 minutes.

I know at our Curves, they will let you try it a couple of times before joining, it couldn't hurt to ask.

Good for you, CC! You are going to get rid of those last few pounds soon.
 
Cathy- exercise to me is more important than what I eat- if I can establish a good consistent routine of getting out there and moving I'm more motivated to treat my body well by choosing the right things. WOO-HOO- and as far as the dessert goes- there is a time and place for everything!! I say enjoy a good dessert about once a month and exercise for 20 days a month and you've got a good balance! :) So when you have that dessert- make it a YUMMY one!! :)

Sometimes you just gotta have what you gotta have and then move on - and move you did with all that exercise your body would have forgotten that dessert and then some. Good for you :)
 
Cathy, I am trying to figure out the "bad News" in your post!

Let's see:
1. You stayed within points....Good!
2. You did your WATP....Good!
3. You have done Curves 3 days in a row....Good!

It's ALL good! I have to tell you that I am loving Curves too. I started a week ago Saturday, and I have curved (I don't think that is a verb, but I'm going to use it as one anyway) every day since! I feel so wonderful after I finish my workout there. Keep up the good--make that great-- work!
