Wait til you hear this! I can't believe this happened to me w/ a Disney CM!
I've been making PSs all week for our vacation in June (Weds. I got a Cindy's ressie for bfast! Yeah! Thanks, Tour Guide MIKE for the hints!).
So, I called yesterday afternoon to make a lunch ressie for Le Cellier for June 9, 90 days from yesterday. The CM ( I did get her name!) told me, it's too early to make that. I said, no I know I can make it today. She says, NO! You have to call back on March 27 to make that PS! I said, No, I have 5 confirmed PSs for my June vacation right here in front of me. So, she said, OK, I TRY it! So, she takes my info and proceeds to tell me that there is no availability for a party of 6 for that day. I ask her if she's sure. She says, That's WHAT my screen says! Do you want me to try a different day?!? I said, I'll call back tomorrow. And she HANGS UP ON ME!!!
So, I call back! I get a really helpful CM who takes my info about Le Cellier and proceeds to offer me seatings at 11:50, 12:10, 12:40, etc. etc. I couldn't believe it!!! I mean, I really didn't believe Le Cellier's lunch would sell out on the the 1st day of availability, but to be LIED TO??? I was even NICE!!! So, I make my ressie w/the nice CM and ask for a number to call for a supervisor.
The supervisor called me at 8:30 last night and listened to my story. Throughout, she's saying things like "oh no!" "oh my" and gasping regularly!
She apologized profusely and told me that they demand better from their CMs, etc. etc. I knew they would want to know...that's why I called the super. I expected nothing else.
However, she offered to send my daughters an autographed "we can't wait to see you!" photo of their favorite characters! My girls will be so surprised! She offered to send them to our house or have them waiting in our room upon our arrival. Isn't that sweet?!? I'm so glad I called!
