Backyard BBQ second week of November?

Has anyone been to the Backyard BBQ in November? My family and I are going Nov. 9-18 :hourglass and was wondering about weather and food. Everything I read says it is seasonal. Any suggestions?
 
I have never been but they must be having it then. We are going December 16th and it is one of the last days.
