Backup Location For Yacht Club Gazebo?

Does anyone have any experience with the backup location for the YC gazebo if it rains?? Has it happened to anyone & if so, how did it go? The closer to the VR it gets the more I'm realizing there is a pretty good chance with it being in July (probably about an 80% chance) it could rain on the day of the VR and we would have to settle for an indoor location Gosh, I hope not, but I want to prepare myself. My understanding, they use the YC convention center. Is it nice? Can I request another location, like the Attic at the Boardwalk? Just wondering what to expect, since I picked one of the hottest months with daily thundershowers! UGH!

I'm afraid it's going to be a ballroom... One time, a long time ago, a Sea Breeze Point wedding got moved to the Attic, but the Yacht & Beach Club ballrooms are a lot closer to the Gazebo than the Attic is....

That's what I'm afraid of.... Not what I want to hear but I know that's the reality, but for $1000 more, the wedding pavilion was not an option. Part of my job as a Marketing & Events Coordinator for my company is booking conventions....convention centers are nice for corporate functions, but for weddings, just not my cup of tea, especially without alot of decorations!
