Has anyone been on the Backstage Magic Tour recently?

Do you feel it was worth the cost and time? We'll be there for 7 days, so 8 hours for the tour isn't a big concern we just want to make sure it is worth the money.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

We were at Disney the beginning of may and took this tour for the second time. Some small changes from the previous tour, but still very good. I would recommend it to anyone. I t is only 7 hours long. You get so much information and it is nice being driven around in a bus and getting lunch. They have water on the bus for you and rain gear if it should rain. At the end you get a nice pin.

I have to DH next time we need to take a tape recorder so we can remember all of the info.

Thanks for your reply Webmomom!

Have you been on any of the other tours? If so, how does this compare? We picked this because it seemed the most comprehensive (MK, MGM, Epcot).

How much time do you get to spend in each park? Do you get to go behind the scenes at any of the rides in Magic Kingdom...specifically Haunted Mansion?

We have done both tours at the AK, the three tours at Epcot and the key to the kingdon tour at MK as well as this one. We are going to do the Segway tour when we go next month.

We got to go under the American Pavillion in Epcot. Most of it is the behind the scences type of things. We got to see Costuming for the Cm and then to the big costuming for the shows, Central shops, the tunnel, etc. You spend a equal amount of time between them.

How would I compare them. More intense. As on other tours and we loved each one, they push a little to get it done. Of course they are not going to show you the same things that are on the other tours, they want you to take them.

An no you do not get to the HM. Actually we took the Keys to Kingdom tour in Oct and got to go behind in the HM and ride the POTC.

It is a really neat tour take it you will like it.
