Backstage Magic in October

My husband and I have been going back and forth about an adults only Backstage Magic in October of 2014. Every time I think we have a decision I get more information that makes me question our plans. I am hoping you can help with a couple questions.

We did a Backstage Magic trip back in 2009 and had a group of 21 people. How does it work with a full group of 44? When we split in half for different activities this trip it would be the size of our entire group during our last adventure. I am just wondering if the group feels too big.

Also, the historic park hours during the week in October show DL & CA closing at 8 pm every night except for during the Halloween Party. Would you book this trip knowing the park might close so early every night?

That doesn't seem to be consistent with the park hours for the dates on which this year's adults only tour will be at DLR:

Oct. 15 - As discussed in another thread, the tour will include tickets for the Halloween party at DL.
Oct. 16-17 - DL closes at 9pm; CA closes at 8pm.
Oct. 18 - This is also a party night; CA is open until midnight.​

Also, after the tour, on the 19th and 20th, DL is open until midnight and CA until 10pm.

Thanks for your reply!!! I should have been more specific... The historic park closing times for Tuesdays through Thursdays in the 2nd and 3rd week of October have DL closing at 8:00. I am probably just overthinking everything...

I also checked the hours for the parks during this years October adults only tour the yesterday, and it is as JLSilvers reported. I was in the process of replying last night, but got called away. There is only one night when one of the parks closes at 8 PM. Personally, this doesn't bother me considering the other park is open later and also the BSM tour is very busy, so getting back to the room possibly before 10 PM one night will probably be a good thing.

Also, regarding the size of the group. I know ours is either full or nearly so. I just need to trust that ABD will take care of things so that the seemingly large size will move well. I'd prefer a smaller group, too, but there aren't that many adults only BSM tours, so I'm sure they're apt to be popular. I have a feeling the guides will be splitting up the group much of the time and each taking 1/2 the group. I will post how this goes after I return in October, if you would like.

I'm just really excited about the tour and we're coming up to close to just a month left before it starts so I'm only imagining it being a positive experience!
