Backstage Magic: Eat at Club 33?

We have recommended the Backstage Magic trip to some friends. They were thrilled, especially with the idea of getting into Club 33. Now, however, I think we were mistaken in mentioning that because I can't find info anywhere that says Club 33 is included. Did I steer them wrong? Help please!

The normal ABD Backstage Magic tours do not include Club 33.

The DIS Exclusive BSM trips *occasionally* include Club 33 if it's available and can be arranged, but even that's not a guarantee.

You probably saw Trip Reports from folks on the DIS Exclusive trips, which reported they went to Club 33. I'd guess that's where you got the idea from.

Our 2010 BSM was not a DIS-exclusive tour and we had breakfast at Club 33. Our guides said it was not a guaranteed part of the tour but, if they can arrange it, they do. One guide said he didn't know until early that morning that we were in. I don't know if it's still the case for the 2012 tour, but I wanted to let you know that we got to go on a non-DIS tour.

On the first Dis Exclusive BSM, our group dined at Club 33 under a reservation made by a member.

Since that trip, ABD has tried to accommodate as many groups as possible in Club 33.

This is not an advertised part of the Adventure because it can be hit or miss.

If the Club is being used for any reason, ABD does not get to go....and as posted, they usually don't know until that day whether it's on or off.

I would never suggest that anyone book this Adventure based on this experience, but if it happens, it's certainly a nice perk.
