Silly question I know...

but we are a family of 4 going, and plan on bringing one light backpack with us into the park, what do we do with it on rides??? we plan on riding all toghther.

is this dumb?

Not dumb at all. :)

I've brought large backpacks to DL most of the time; whenever I'm on a ride, I would place the backpack on the floor behind my legs. This would prevent the backpack from moving/sliding around on rides with a lot of movement. Be aware that larger backpacks may be inconvenient to walk around with so I suggest you consider renting a locker to alleviate some weight.

I did the same as Jrmislan, and usually put a strap around my ankle to hold it in place. I think that was not necessary since my backpack never flew up on the several rides we went on.

I always carry a regular daypack when I am at DL. I have never had any trouble with it on rides. Just like Mary Jo I too put my foot into one strap, just in case. I prefer carrying it over getting a locker so I always have what we might need. :tink:

Yep, I do it all the time. One leg through the strap of course!

That is really good to know, I was also wondering about what to do with a backpack. I am planning to get one that just has one strap, would it be possible to just keep it around my body off to the side for Screamin'?

Yes, I do that with my sling purse.
