Backlot Express

We like Backlot Express. I really like the caprese sandwich, it is always good and something different.

When we were there in June, a couple of Stormtroopers came in and interacted with people (not our section) for about 10 minutes or so. I don't know if that is typical, or if they were training or why they were there.

That is what seemed most intriguing to me on the menu!! Or the chicken and waffles!

Of the mediocre choices at DHS it is definitely the best in our opinion.

I'm glad to see Backlot Express getting some love. It's one of my family's favorite places in all the Disney parks. Not that it's anything special, but we always seem to end up here and I have so many memories of good times hanging out, talking, laughing. Probably because the bottomless sodas and air-conditioning make it a great place to relax and cool off!

My family likes it. We usually get burgers and think they are really good. Last time I got a BB8 cupcake and it was really, really good!

My family and I went in early May and it wasn't bad. The nuggets were pretty good and the burgers were typical Disney burgers. It's hard to find decent QS in Hollywood Studios so we decided to try them out. AC and refills on the drinks were a plus

The Star Wars tour eats lunch there and the troopers interact with them during it. Not sure if they come other times.
