My 90 day window is fast approaching. My DD5 really wants to go to CRT. But I know that may not be possible. SO waht is a good back up? CP for B,L,or D or LTT? We are only going to be at MK for 1 day and then back for the MNSSHP. At the party DH doesn't want to have a sitdown that evening. Any thoughts would be great!

Well if you want the princesses you can try Akershus in Norway. They are there B, L, & D. So you have more choices.

We are passing on Epcot this time. We only have 3 days with no hopper. This is our budget trip.

I've only been to CP, will be trying LTT this trip. I can say, even as an adult, I loved CP! And we had breakfast and it was great...seven years ago. I am sure from what I have read on the boards that it is still great food.

From some others I have heard rave things about LTT which is a big reason we want to try it this trip. But, from a whole different perspective, I have heard it is a great place for food allergies, so this is the main reason we are going.

What do you think your family will like more? I think each restaurant offers something different, buffet vs family style, decor, and of course, characters not to mention food. I think, either are a fine back up for CRT.

We did CP for breakfast when we couldn't get CRT.. and since we were doing CRT for our youngest "princess" we did princess dinner at Akershus later that evening (it was her birthday).

So I guess I'd say we did CP instead of CRT. :)

I wasn't able to get PS for CRT for breakfast, so we made PS there for dinner our first night instead (no characters but really great food and atmosphere) and made ps for another night at the 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian for the Cinderella dinner. Very nice buffet, although the prime rib that I had heard so much about was very fatty. The strawberry soup was awesome though, and is what I had for dessert.

DD got her pic with the Fairy Godmother while we waited for our table and had lots of time with her. The mice came by often and gave hugs to dd and dh each time they came by. Cindy and Prince Charming came by for pics, but did not hang around long. Very nice little note in dd's autograph from Prince Charming though.

Overall, if you want Cindy, this was a great alternative to the CRT breakfast, and you don't have to get up early!!

We also did the Storybook lunch and Cinderella was there as well.

I agree, 1900 Park Fair would be my back up for the castle. The food is good, and Cinderella and Prince Charming do visit your table. Princess meals are always a must for our dd.

I think I've figured out that there is a place in ToonTown that houses the Princesses for meet and greets! Have you seen any pictures with the gold curtain backgrounds?

I would go with 1900 Park Fare, then find out about the ToonTown greets!

That's exactly what I did for us. I continue to try for CRT for our departure morning, but I did make an ADR for 1900 PF as my backup. princess:

What about Ohana's?? They open up at 730 and it's just a monorail ride away from MK. We did it on monday and it was absolutely the best character meal we've been too. The food was hot and fresh. The mickey waffles are awesome. You get to see Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Goofy. They spent a lot of time at each table and did every pic we wanted. It was a great time.
