Hi! We returned from WDW today and we had great transportation experiences. Spirit Airlines out of Atlantic City, NJ was convenient and smooth. Although PHL is actually closer to us, we found that using ACY actually saved us time and aggravation. And it only cost $25 to park our car for 7 days! To get to and from MCO, we used Yourride Towncar Service. Our driver, Tom, was terrific.
We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for the first 3 nights of our stay and the boats to MK and the GF were quick. The buses from the WL to the Animal Kingdom and from the Swan to DTD were bearable. Thanks to your great advice, we sat in the front car of the monorail twice. The kids were even given official pilot's licenses once! We stayed at the Swan for the last 3 nights of our stay and we loved being able to walk to MGM (25 minutes) and Epcot (15 minutes). We also took the boats to MGM and Epcot. Walking was actually faster.
Our fantastic trip was greatly enhanced because we knew all of our transportation options, thanks to this great forum.
