Back to Where It Began - 10th Anniversary Trip Report-Dec 2007 - Pics Added 4/7

Awww... those Lego guys are cute. :)

You guys are good with those things... or do you buy them already put together? Anyway, I can't do that.

I made a spaceship once....

...once.

It's about time you started this thing.

Actually, the house was a Christmas present for DD6. She saw it in one of DH's Lego catalogs and decided she wanted it. It was over 1300 pieces and she basically put it together herself, with a little guidance from DH and I. After it was done, we decided it would work along with our TR theme. Then, DH made the FedEx truck. That's actually what the delay was in starting this thing. I was waiting for the sets to be created!

Thanks for stopping by! Now, get to posting on yours! popcorn::

Target pizza!?! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Actually, it does look good. My lack of Pizza intake over the past 7 months is beginning to have an effect on me. I'm thinking carb fest tonight. :scratchin:

I like your sack-o-groceries. Buzz approves. ::yes::

I like the idea of posting pictures of Lego guys instead of family memebers. I get to see these clowns everyday but how often do you get to see a Lego guy sucking down a 16oz McDonalds soda? :lmao:

I think Plankton is my favorite "guy" you got.

I'm just glad you're finally up and running. :thumbsup2

That McDonald's soda was a lot bigger than 16oz, you know...

And I'm sure there's another Lego guy you'll like better on day 3 of our trippie. He had a bright yellow shirt and a black cap... :woohoo:

I'm lovin' this! You have me cracking up. And I want to thank you for buying Tostitos chips and salsa. We need to keep our Pepsico stock up! :thumbsup2

Uhm, I'm just wondering ... will we ever get to see pictures of you in person? :confused3 Not that the Legos aren't funny ... or are the Legos just way too much cuter than you two? :rotfl2:

Check out page five. Buzz posted a pic of the three of us when we had our mini-DIS meet in Epcot. We met for a set of Off Kilter on day three. Just wait until you see the Lego DIS Meet!

I remember that now! Okay, the Legos are cuter (joke). Legos DIS meet? How cool is that! popcorn::

Great update. ME is not always magical either, just as an FYI. In August DH had no luggage the day we got there until 2:00pm the next afternoon:headache:

Did your 6yo give you a hard time leaving?

We did ME last January when we took the family. It was awesome! We got right on a bus, drove to the Wilderness Lodge with one stop at the Contemporary first, and our luggage arrived about two hours later. After waiting over an hour for our luggage this trip, I'll take my chances with ME next time.

DD6 didn't really get upset about us going without her. I'm not sure why to tell you the truth. You'd think she'd be furious. But I guess since we stressed over and over that we are going for an entire week in October, she didn't get too upset. I think she also knew that we'd bring her back something cool. :cool2:

I am loving the lego thing...

Can't wait to see Charlie Brown, oops I mean BUZZ in legos. *lol*

One of the best dining report writers (and also trip report writers) on the DIS is olboyshoi (Brenda).

She and that hairball she calls a husband sure have you snowed!

About a week before we left, we got a special delivery from Missouri, via FedEx. We came outside to see what the delivery could be and guess who graced us with his presence???

How humiliating. I wasn't even shipped overnight.

I LOVE the part of not having to worry about picking up the luggage when we get there. I am just going to make sure to pack one extra outfit for everyone in our carryon's. Didn't even think about doing that last year:sad2:

That's good. Not sure how DS would handle it. I think it would depend on who we left him with, KWIM?

I'm glad your DD took it well. In the summer, my MIL has insisted on taking the kids for a week every year for the past 3 years, so I know how freeing an experience that can be. HHBG never takes me to Disney for those trips, tho. :headache:

I love the lego guys traveling with you. And Plankton, too. :)

They had my in-laws for the first two days and then my mom came down for the next two. When we went to Puerto Rico in late January, they begged for my mom to come down for the entire time though.

I would love it if either grandparents would take them away for a week every year in the summer. What I could get done around the house.... :cloud9:

Oh well, at least we can get away every once in awhile. And it won't be long before they're both in school all day and I'll miss them then, right?
