Yep. This morning. She liked the idea. I think if I can get a "good ding" and get out of our Gulf Shores vacation in July, we might Gir-r-done. :cool1:
YEE-HAW!! GET-R-DONE....I dont care who you are thats funny right there.

Are you going too Ed? That sounds fun. Maybe I'll join you guys. :scratchin

:rotfl2:

Whatchoo talking about Hollis?? You're paying, remember? And then buying us all margaritas in DTD after I finish my trippie before you do...  :cool1: :cool1:

And it IS the 19th. We arrive late on the 18th (Saturday).

What's that all about?

Sorry, busy morning today. DD4's preschool had a field trip to Chick-Fil-A. So, I met them there, took some pics and then went shopping at Kohls. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything for me at all. But, I did buy the girls matching dresses and my DH some jeans. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go back some other time... :)

And it's 60 degrees here today, so I will probably spend most of my afternoon outside with the kiddos. Can't waste a day like today, especially since it may snow again this weekend! :scared1:

I've got my next update ready and I'll post it tonight! Gotta stay ahead of Buzz!

Oh, I love Kohls! :lovestruc I dont go often, because I spend too much there..
My weather bug says its 36, but its at the golf course a couple miles away by the ocean. it feels warmer than that, i got the chickens out..gotta remember to put them back before Steve gets home..

Both DH and I are former band-geeks, so we know how that goes. I went to school in Fort Wayne (Wayne H.S.) and only made it to state ISSMA contest once during my four years there. That year we came in 7th and actually beat Homestead! Of course, that was before Homestead moved up to Class A and became so good.

DH went to Chesterton back in their band heyday. I don't remember how many times he's marched in the dome, but it's definitely more times than I have.

Good luck!
I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay late to this party, but wanted to chime in!

:wave2: neighbors! Another Hoosier here! I graduated from Northrop (Ft Wayne) in '91 and was in the color guard for the Big Orange Pride!

Ok...back to reading the trip report...loving the legos...lol

:welcome:

Thanks for joining us! We always called Northrop the "big orange blob" but I knew a few guys from there. Trumpet players named Ty and Mark Kleineidam. I think Ty was a few years older than us (I graduated in 91 too), but Mark was the same year. Don't remember Ty's last name, but he was Asian. I also knew a clarinet player -- Angie Hicks. She's the one who started Angie's List by the way. It's a big deal down here in Indy, but I know they've expanded to other cities too.
