Back to Where It Began - 10th Anniversary Trip Report-Dec 2007 - Pics Added 4/7

Is that where we were? It's been so long I had totally forgotten! ;)

Now now, it's only been 9 days between updates. I think I'm doing pretty good. Buzz had almost a month, remember? In fact, we made a bet last night on who would be done first. He's going to owe me a beer in October! :woohoo:

I skipped over all the chat. Did Eric remember? :confused3

I couldn't convince him to ninja post with me. Maybe he can add his two cents in later tonight...

She is a shorty eh? Brookie is 3½ and at last barefoot measurement she was 39 inches!

My oldest has always been very tall. She was 36 inches at two years old. The doctor still says that she'll be at least 5 foot 10 inches tall. But, the little one is pretty small. She's had breathing issues since birth and has been on steroids many times, so I think that has stunted her growth a bit. But, she's doing a lot better now (no steroids this winter at all!), and she's starting to catch up. It's funny though because she was 39 inches on her 4th birthday (Feb 3rd) and that's shorter than DD6 was at three years old. She's about a year behind her sister. Oh well, she has seven months to grow an inch. I think she can do it. Plus, if we find just the right shoes...

Ew. I don't do nuts.

DM, you are a nut! :rotfl: But, the bakery has the pretzels without nuts too. I'm not a fan of walnuts, but we both like almonds though, so we got the crunchy one.

Really? Guess we're very lucky. Only very very occasionally will Brookie wake up crying that she has to go. And yes, it's totally different during the night because it "kary" at night!

She doesn't wake up crying, but she will come into our room and stand by my side of the bed (never her father's mind you) and tell me that she has to go potty. Usually she'll go right back to bed afterward, but this morning it was 7am before she did it. Then she wouldn't go back to her bed since it was morning (light outside). So, she climbed in bed with us and wanted to watch TV. So much for sleeping in....:sad2: I was up too late last night on the DIS with my friends!

When Brookie comes into my room early I just let her crawl in and I turn on the TV. I turn around and go back to sleep. I sleep well to the TV. Rob is always up very very early so it's usually just me and Brookie, if she comes in. A lot of times she sleeps in until 8-9 ish.

That's what I tried this morning, but then the dog starting jumping on the side of the bed and then DD6 came in, so it was fruitless. I ended up just getting up. Hopefully I'll be able to catch a nap this afternoon. :woohoo:

Now that would be lucky. Naps are unheard of here for anyone ... that's why I'm sick but still DISing.

I'm delusional to think I might get a nap, but you never know... DH is gone for the day playing trains and the girls might settle down with a movie later... :confused3 Probably not though. I'm sure if I do doze off on the sofa I will be startled awake by the screaming of little girls, fighting with each other! That's how it always works. :sad2:

Plankton likes the Toblerone eh? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That Norway pretzel thingy looks GREAT! I'm gunna be all over that like a buzzard on a gut wagon next October.

Don't listen to DM, nuts are gud! :thumbsup2

Train Tour sounds gud.

I know what you mean about sleeping with the children as I just did it for the first time in DLR. Usually, we toss them in their own room with their own bathroom but this time we were jammed in a Disney 350 sq. Ft. room with one bathroom. I slept with LG most every night and besides grinding her teeth, kneeing me in the back, and going "potty" every 2 hours, it was a great sleep.

Uff da. :sad2:

I get to clean the garage. It's about 65 here today.

Lucky you... I got the booth set up and am home for about an hour to do :laundy: before having to go back and work a shift with DD6. I'd rather have the 65 degree weather and have to clean out the garage though. It's 29 here and we got three inches of snow last night. Glad that the grocery store where we're working let's us set up inside. Those poor girls at Wal-Mart have to set up outside! Little cold for that!

DH had a hankering for some popcorn popcorn:: so we tried to get some from the popcorn stand right in front of the USA, but they had run out!!!! :confused3 Can you believe that??? That’s just crazy!!!
That is crazy :sad2:

So, we wanted to see what kinds of goodies from Deutschland the store had.

Plankton found his favorite item – Toblerone!

It makes me laugh that they sell Toblerone which is Swiss in Germany and have you seen the price of it :faint: It is yummy though, my favourite is the snowcapped one which is normal milk chocolate on the bottom and white chocolate on the top :goodvibes

Almond Pretzel from Norway Bakery
Total: $4.04
Used 1 Snack credit
Great credit use :thumbsup2

Plankton did enjoy riding on the boat though.

I am the King of the World!!!!
:rotfl2:

It was awesome to be able to walk to our hotel – definitely worth the extra points needed to stay at Beach Club. :woohoo:
I'd love to stay there one day :cloud9:

I have booked us for the big TFW meet in August but am still not sure it will work out. :confused3 We CAN afford it but not sure we SHOULD afford it, if you KWIM. :rotfl:
Excuse me Madame, don't you dare think about not coming, I'm coming all the way from England to see you!!!!!!

Well, we sold 78 boxes of cookies today. Not bad, considering how cold it is outside. Not too many people braving the cold to go grocery shopping today.

We have 76 boxes left and one more booth to go. So, hopefully we can get rid of some of these cookies next week so that we're not stuck with them!
