Back to Where It Began - 10th Anniversary Trip Report-Dec 2007 - Pics Added 4/7

Just make sure he checks it for lice first! You never know how many people have tried on those hats! :scared1:

 I know and he is one of those who tries on all the hats. I don't think he ever checked the hats before putting them on. :scared:

One of the things I miss about the States is the Girl Scout cookies. My favourites were always those peanut butter ones, I think they are called Tagalongs? :cloud9:

Yep! They're Tagalongs (or Peanut Butter Patties). There are two different bakeries that make the cookies. Each local GS councils can choose which bakery to use. Because one of the bakeries owns the copyright for some of the names, the other one uses different names. But, the cookies are supposedly identical.

Probably! Whatcha got? I think I asked earlier on TFW what your shipping policies are! :lmao:

I love the Samoas, Tagalongs, Dosidos and of course Thin Mints. :rolleyes1

I love them all. And that's the problem with having so many in my house. If I'm having a snack attack at night, all I have to do is throw some more money in the envelope and grab another box.

We've got a booth tomorrow afternoon and then again next Sunday afternoon. I hope we sell all that we have left, but if not, I'll definitely be willing to ship some out to you!

That's a great pic, Lessa. Your bro looks like he was having fun! Ed (TFW Bartender) probably got him a beer before he posed for that, right??

Nice one, Ed! I've seen this one before though. Didn't you used to have it as your avatar? Anyway, that margarita looks great. Didn't get the chance to try one of those this time... I had a Lapu instead. It was yummy!

 No way, he was 18 when that got taken. I would never condone underage drinking. :lmao:

Love the sombrero Ed! :rotfl2:

Okay, well I have to get ready for work and then dig the car out from underneath all the snow. I'll be back later on, ciao!

Pshew. I ate 2/3 of a box of tagalongs today. :sad1:

Hey, I'm all caught up! :goodvibes

I love the lego dudes.

And I don't blame you at all for leaving the kids. I kind of routinely take off with D on his trips, and it's totally refreshing for all of us. They're used to D being gone, of course, and my mom comes - whom they love and who spoils them immensely - and we're all good. :thumbsup2

Crazy thing is that DH started a new job the week we got home from WDW (Dec 11th) and they had their "holiday" party in late January in Puerto Rico! So, we had another weekend to ourselves not six weeks after this one! We definitely hit the jackpot this year!

My mom lives about 90 minutes away and DH's parents live about 10 minutes away, so we've got options. It's nice. The girls love it too! That's the main reason we moved back to Indiana. We were living in metro DC until right before DD6 was born. I didn't want her to grow up too far away from her grandparents, so we moved back.

That's awesome! I think we've talked about it, but of course all our parents are in IL and we're not. ;)

I can usually go along with D on the good trips - a week or longer, and we know in advance, but we have to find a time for my mom to come. D's mom still works, and his dad and stepmum are nice but useless kid-wise. My mom is dealing with her 80 year old sick parents, so...

Anyway, hooray for you! We got away to Mexico this fall and may get to go to Italy this summer. :thumbsup2

Nice update.

It still sucks that I named the Ip-Dip Fry Daddy Dude Fest and can't go... LOL! Darn budget anyhow!

Jodi, are you still on? its late..I`m finished catching up I think.
ohhh, that WDW commercial is on right now. :goodvibes the one were the mom is on the Computer looking at packages and the kids look out the window. princess:
Gotta go iron Steves Uniform pants. ::cop:

You should get naming rights! Yea! Buzz should pay for your trip!

LoL!

Maybe I can get residuals for everytime it's mentioned. LOL

Ah well, I'll be reading in SPIRIT! I'll get there someday. Hopefully 2009

Great update Jodi. We love the viewing spot between US and Italy for Illuminations. Good choice:thumbsup2

The crowds you saw for EMH are my fear and why I think we may just avoid late EMH at all costs....

That pretzel from Norway looked really good:cloud9:

Hi Janet!

Actually, it wasn't very crowded, but I think the fact that it was Friday did make a difference. I'm sure there were plenty of locals there. I know they come out on the weekends to see the Christmas decorations and witness the special holiday happenings.

We just knew that we'd be at Epcot on Sunday so we decided not to stand in line for anything. We figured that we could be there for rope drop on Sunday and ride everything we wanted without waiting. The best laid plans...

Last we left our fearless pair, we were trying to figure out what to do after Fantasmic ended and MGM was closed.
Is that where we were? It's been so long I had totally forgotten! ;)

But maybe Eric can remember some of his jokes???
I skipped over all the chat. Did Eric remember? :confused3

We’re really hoping that DD4 grows one more inch by October so that we won’t have to deal with that tantrum again!
She is a shorty eh? Brookie is 3½ and at last barefoot measurement she was 39 inches!

Plankton found his favorite item – Toblerone!

Evan just saw Plankton and said, "Hey! We have him. He looks fat there." I guess Plankton ate too much chocolate! :rotfl2:

Ew. I don't do nuts.

Almond Pretzel from Norway Bakery
Total: $4.04
Used 1 Snack credit
Good deal though!

While taking pictures and posing with the merchandise in the lobby of the Mexico pavilion, DH noticed a guy wearing a really cool t-shirt. DH, being the train geek that he is, had to grab a picture:

This shirt rocks! Rob would love it.

BTW, It's amazing how well you can sleep when there's no four year old with a very small bladder waking you up in the middle of the night because she can't seem to go to the bathroom by herself in the middle of the night even though she does it fine during the day! Not that this happens to me every single night or anything...
Really? Guess we're very lucky. Only very very occasionally will Brookie wake up crying that she has to go. And yes, it's totally different during the night because it "kary" at night!
