That’s right! It was Derek Smalls from Spinal Tap! Or at least someone who wanted to be him. Of course, it’s almost 25 years too late for that, right? Eric took that picture with his cell phone while attempting to be inconspicuous. I’m not sure it worked. If you look at the woman sitting next to him (his wife?), it sure looks like she knows what we’re thinking.

I can’t believe it didn’t annoy her while trying to watch the show. Oh well, some people just don’t think about others.

How RUDE

Even though there are some scary spots, as long as we sit near the back, I think DD4 won’t get too scared. Plus, they’ll love seeing all the princesses dancing with their princes.

I held back taking Jimmy last year becasue I thought it might be too scary. I think we are going to try it this year

Thank goodness Fantasmic went on that night. I would have been devastated if I missed it on a trip, it's my favourite night time show.

I so agree, those flashy things really should be turned off during the show, very distracting!

I'm not sure she really knew that he was taking a picture or not. He disguised it pretty well. He acted like he was seeing if he got a signal or not. There's no flash on the cell phone camera, so it wasn't obvious when he clicked the button. I think she may have known, however, that we were looking at them strangely though. I'm just wondering if he realizes that the 70s are over yet??

I'm working on an update. It's been a crazy weekend around here and it's not getting any better. Lots of stuff to do and I'm not feeling really great either. I think I'm headed to bed now. Try to keep from catching the flu that's going around. I'm not promising anything tomorrow, but maybe by Wednesday...

DH was supposed to work on the ambulance tonight, but due to a scheduling snafu, they didn't have a spot for him. So, he's home now too. I'll try to get him to post his recollections of the events in question as well.
