Back to the magic! - Pre trip report!

This is my first TR so hopefully I won't waffle on too much!

Cast
Me - Disney fan for years, love all pixar films and classics are my favorite!
DH - Loves theme parks! Has been to WDW when he was younger and loved it!
DD 5 - Loves everything princesses and disney
DS 3 turning 4 on our trip! - Loves Cars, Toy story and most of all Mickey Mouse!!!

Our first trip to Disneyland Paris was back in 2005. We took DD for her 2nd birthday. To cut a long story short (and hope you all don't think I'm cruel!) we never took DS He was born with a cleft lip and palate and we had spent lots of time in the hospital with him there-fore not seeing much of DD. We needed to give him our full attention while in hospital which ended up with DD not getting much at all. So this was our treat for her!
To get back on track then this will be DS first trip!!!! (although DD doesn't remember much!)
It started off as a surprise but now they know! (They think it's a week ahead though!) We told DS he was going to have his birthday with Mickey Mouse!! He then went in to his nursery class and told a number of his friends they could come to his party in Disneyland Paris!!! I explained they couldn't come to his party as it's very expensive to go to Mickey's magical party. Next day waiting to go in to nursery he shouted 'Mummy they can't come to Mickey's Magical Party because their mummy's don't have enough pennies do they?' What can I say!...I hung my head in shame!

So now were off for 4 nights 5 days staying in The Newport Bay Club. Were flying with Easyjet and have a private transfer with RS transport so should reach the hotel about 11.
We have booked our reservations,
Wednesday Inventions
Thursday Auberge
Friday Cafe Mickey
Saturday California Grill ( may be changing to BBWWS!)
We will be leaving on the Sunday night about 6.30

I have gone a tad OTT with the DISigns thread as some of you may know! The children already had a 4 ft full size Mickey Mouse delivered with their invitation a few weeks ago and I have had letters made off the thread which I printed off and put through the post! I have made them both about 3 tshirts and have also made lovely pillowcases with their names and the castle on to put on their beds before they go into the room. I'm also putting a little present on the bed with 'come and find me!' on (thank you whoever gave this tip!) They also have fabulous tags off the thread to go on their new suitcases I got from the Disney Store sale!

So as you can imagine I'm SO excited for this trip and can't wait to see their little faces!!

i dont think that was cruel at all i think it was a lovely thing to do. it must have been really hard trying to divide your time between kids.

wow you have loads of stuff for them. i wish i was able to do all that but im just not at all creative lol.

Neither am I!! Thats why I just asked people to do it for me lol!

Well the kids think were going to visit some friends in Telford tomorrow!! The thing is our friends chicks have just recently hatched so the kids are really excited because they think they're going to see the chicks! DH said 'hope they're not disapointed they won't see the chicks! Will have the camera ready for when we pull up outside the airport!!
All packed and ready to go!! Have got my addresses for the postcards, will do them on the first day so when I get back you should have recieved them hopefully!

I'm sure that they wouldn't be disappointed for long Have a brilliant time, I'm sure that all your planning will pay off!!
