What are some of the best deals you get when back to school shopping?

I haven't taken dd yet, we have a tax free school supplies weekend coming up,so plan to go then.

I was at office max today to stock up on $0.25 pencil sharpeners, 4 for $0.25 highlighters and other deals. I was told that their "big" sales will be the next couple weeks.

Teachers, sign up for their teacher perks card and you can buy 3 times the limit on items. Sometimes they have let me get even more than that!

A couple of Moms chip in together and buy in bulk, usually from Discount School Supply. Usually DSS will have back to school savings to save us even more.
