Back to school shopping deals

Well I see my back to school shopping thread went poof probably due to the fact I provided direct links and didn't read the rules of the powers that be. Apparently I cannot do that Whatever
Well a lot of us do not have the option to shop in the states for back to school stuff. I thought I would re-start a thread where we can discuss where the deals are without posting direct links. I have completed all of my shopping for the two older kids and never stepped foot in a store. I hit the clearance section at Hollister, Aeropostle and American Eagle online and got some great stuff for fall. I also got a whole bunch of really nice collared Cars t-shirts for ds5 for grade one at Wal-Mart in Airdrie the other day for 5 bucks each! I see Wal-Mart has their school stuff out already

Target has their back-to-school stuff out, but no big sales yet. I can't wait! I can't resist all those brand new boxes of markers,crayons, duo-tangs,etc. I think I'm a school supply geek! Must be why I'm a teacher!

You aren't alone and I'm not a teacher...I think that I am school supply junkie. I haven't seen any deals yet but I know that they will come!

I'm looking forward to following this thread. I don't get a newspaper, I'm not in the city, so sometimes I miss the deals. I'll be looking for various things for myself and my girls (high school).

My one DD lamented that the Pooh backpack that she has been using since grade 5 has had it (she's going into grade 10), so we might be in the market for a new one, but for summer school (getting new credits, that girl is ambitious!) she IS using a "Milk" one that I won a few years back. BTW, I do offer to buy new backpacks, but my kids can't see the point, if the one they are using is still okay.

We always buy math sets....I'm not sure WHAT they do with them!

Basic binders, nothing fancy. Paper etc.

I noticed that the back to school stuff is out at Zellers this weekend. No deals yet, but looks like they're coming.
