Did I miss an announcement? Someone told me yesterday they got a notice on their Disney app that they were going back to full capacity. I haven't seen this.

I don't see how they could possibly do that and maintain the current physical distancing rule.

I would recommend you check out the news and rumors board, that's probably where you'll find the most up to date info that's not released from official channels.

haven't seen anything going above 35%.
In the parks its hard to tell as the lines are so much longer with social distancing and the shows that normally hold a lot of people aren't running, so many more people walking around.
Doubt we will see near normal capacity before end of summer or early fall, if then.

physical distancing rules change to 3 feet today...I could see capacity going up now

Following Universal almost a week later. I guess they had to get the signs ready. They seem to keep doing that when it used to be the other way around.

Physical distancing doesn't do anything for attraction capacity. I don't see capacity opening up without WAAAAY more shows opening (which even then won't have a huge impact), increasing ride capacity, or FP+ coming back. (or a combination of all three)

Less physical distancing will allow them to load more people onto ride vehicles, which will definitely impact lines. There have already been some reports of more rows being filled/less distancing in ride vehicles. Universal is also loading parties together and brought back single rider, so I imagine Disney is headed in that direction also. Agree that restaurants, shows, and some sort of FP needs to come back too though!

The world is full of misinformation.

Temporary adjustments are still in place to promote physical distancing. While we will reduce physical distancing measures for Guests across many areas with a gradual, phased approach, six-feet distancing measures will continue in all dining locations, merchandise stores and in areas where Guests can temporarily remove their masks.

I can only hope that they do this without increasing park capacity. That's probably a pipe dream though. Adding ride capacity sure would help the loooong ride lines out in the open sun.

Disney already has been. Many rides are now seating full vehicles that were not just a few weeks ago.

Less physical distancing should also lead to less of the line being outside in the sun, which will be really nice now that Florida is moving toward their surface of the sun summer temperatures :sunny:

Crazy how things change so quickly. I am on this board almost every day lately and still didn’t see that. These are great developments. Thanks

This made me laugh out loud.
