OMG can it be true? Back to Disney for me? It may be a possibility!!!!!! DH's parents are looking to take a vacation and Grandpa is far more convinced to go to Disney World with the grandkids than anywhere else. Yippee. They are thinking of a trip for THIS Fall. So that means back to Disney we go.

Wow I've already looked up flights and vacation times for them at both the 2 most inexpensive times to book (Value Season & Regular Season) so we're looking sometime at end of Sept until about beginning of Dec. I'm so excited thinking I might go back. I'm such a nut. Hubby didn't enjoy this past trip as much as he would have liked. He had fun but wanted a little bit more of just our own family time to do things on our own schedule. This way we can still do that AND have the kids with the grandparents to split up for an afternoon, day or heck even an evening and sleep over.

Okay yes, I'm a Disney nut but it's also a safe, comfortable, vacation spot that I love and know so well. With our trips being so close together we would really have more (or I say more) of some down time just chillin' by the pool and taking the time to really look over the grounds of the hotel. This is not something we tend to have time for on hubby's schedule. He's actually the comando that I happily follow along.

Now we'll be able to do either the MNSSHP or MVMCP depending on which time we choose to go. We're going over to the in-laws tonight to discuss details. I'm just so thrilled I can't believe it. Does this make me a real DISer now? I sort of believed before that I lived in the shadow of true DISers.

My DH and I have already discussed what costumes we might wear to MNSSHP. He the sexy Captain Jack Sparrow and I was going to see if I could fit into my wedding dress and be the Bride from Haunted Mansion. Is that too fun or what? The kids of course have tons of Princess costumes. OMG I'm babbling look at the length of my post. Can you tell I'm excited or what?????? :earboy2:
 :cheer2:

Nut, I don't know what you are talking about? We are going in June for 3 weeks(also a stop in Vero) and back in October for a trip with friends. If I didn't win a tickets to Tahiti I would probably squeze a trip trip in August. You sound pretty normal to me. :rotfl2:

I can relate! We just came home on 5/6 and I'm planning a secret trip for our anniversary on 8/4 (just 3 nights)! Getting as much mileage as possible out of our AP's!

Congratulations!! How exciting :) If I had to pick, I'd go in December.. the first week is a great time to go (that's when we went last year).. :cool1:

Hello :wave2:

How lucky are you?! I hope you both have AP's!

Oh my are those your girlies? They are beautiful! What a lovely picture.
We were thinking the first week in December too. Why do you think it's a great time to go?

First week of December is amazing b/c the World is decorated for the holidays, they have special shows like Candlelight Processional and it is just extra magical all around. It is our favorite time to go. :goodvibes

Whichever time you pick though, you will have a super time. And to answer your question, you are not a Disney nut. More like a true DISer! :sunny: :wizard:

Thanks! :) I think they are pretty special!

Well, we've only been to WDW once in December, which was last year (Dec. 4-11). The crowds were low, which meant VERY SHORT wait times for rides.. this was absolutely AWESOME! Plus, all the Christmas decorations were incredible. The weather was also great.. it was in the low 80's all week.. not too hot, not too cold.. perfect. There are also alot of special shows that you can't see any other time of the year.. Candellight processional for one.. It's just special!! :teeth:

No, you're not a nut! You just must have had a wonderful time your last trip and you want to do it again. :)

My first trip to WDW wasn't that great and I said if I ever even think about going to WDW again, I'd get my head examined. It took me about 10 years to go again. Now that I know better about when to go, what to see, etc., I have a great time on my trips and can't wait to get back.

Have a fun time. :) :)

Rarely, very rarely, do I let 100 days slip by without a trip to WDW - it happens perhaps once a year. Generally, we're there every 30 days or so. So, no, you are not a nut. Though, I'm a bit biased.

Same here! Just got back 2 weeks ago and we are ready to return. We are planning a trip for mid June. The new magic your way tickets are great. We bought the 7 day non expire and only used 2 days. It makes it much more affordable to return.

I found the drive from Chicago to be enjoyable and a huge money saver also.

Remember when I had to decide whether to go to WDW over spring break, and then give up a trip when my children were both in camp this summer? And remember I decided to go over spring break and stay home and clean out my attic this summer?

HH June 14 -16, POR June 17 - 22. I am a bad girl!!!!!!

That's great...sure hope it all works out for you! I'm excited, also. :goodvibes We got back a couple of weeks ago & we're looking at early December for a return trip. We had bought 5 day hoppers last year & updated them to 10 day MYW tickets as soon as we got to Orlando. We only used 5 days so now have 5 days in the bank for a return trip.

I've been so tempted to book with the PIN code I got recently that includes room, tickets, & dining plan. I would have to go in Oct. though & it may be hotter than we'd prefer. I'm having a hard time deciding when to go...but it's a nice problem to have!

Nope, you're not nuts! We just got back from a one week trip last Sunday, and we've got another trip planned for October 29 - November 5th. :) Just bought MNSSHP tickets this afternoon, and I am SO excited!!! :goodvibes

We love going in October - November for the Food and Wine festival (and MNSSHP). Early December is a good time to go, too... we've been twice and enjoyed MVMCP and the Candlelight Processional, not to mention the gorgeous decorations. You can't lose with either time, IMO. If you go in Dec., be sure to check out the resort decorations, too. The WL in particular is beautiful; so is the GF and the BWI.
