Back Stage Magic... pre ABD Transfers from Grand Cal to Loews Hotel

Forgive me if this has been asked already (I tried searching the boards to no avail). And I swear I saw this posted somewhere...

We are going on the DIS exclusive BSM in Feb. We are staying at Villas @ Grand Californian before the ABD. We arrive late on Fri nite and ABD is on Monday.

I also work for a company that has a significant financial relationship with Disney and as a result I can get discounted park tickets if I purchase them well in advance.

My question has to do with whether I should get a 2 day pass (Sat & Sun) or 3 day pass (Sat, Sun & Mon).

I know that transfers from VGC to Loews is included in my ABD price, but what time does the transfer occur? If its in the early afternoon, I might spring for a 3 day pass... if its in the AM, I would just do a 2 day pass.

We took this tour three times (crazy, I know), and the pickup time was 1 p.m., if I'm remembering correctly. I think the goal is to get you to Hollywood by 2. Anyway, it's definitely not in the morning.

We did the DIS exclusive BSM in 2012. Your actual adventure starts on Sunday evening. You'll want to be at the Lowes by 4pm or so in order to get ready for the welcome dinner and the night's events.

Actually, the February 2014 BSM starts on a Monday evening (presumably because of the Presidents Day holiday). See http://www.wdwinfo.com/adventures-by-disney/disonlytrip.htm#backstage.

In regard to transfers from the Grand Californian to Hollywood, the trip booklet for the October 2013 BSM stated that that the departure time would be at 1pm, so it presumably would be the same for you, despite the different start day.

The Dis Exclusive February Adventure begins on Monday 2/17/14.

If you are flying into LAX, ABD asked that you are on the ground by 1:00pm.

If you will be in Disneyland prior to the start of the Adventure. The pick up will be at 1:00pm in front of the Grand Californian.

You will need to email me if this is the option you choose, as I have to make sure ABD has transportation scheduled.

This is true if you are flying. ABD needs to know in order to insure transportation is there when needed.

If you have driven to Disneyland and are taking the ABD transfers, it's possible to leave your vehicle at the Grand Californian free of charge. Again....you need to let me know this in advance.

I will send you an email separately, but we are staying at Villas Grand Cal the couple days before the trip. So we will need ABD transfers from there.
