Back, married, and very tired!! MK Pics Added 11/7 First Post!!

Day 2 (cont.)

After we met the demise of the dinosaurs, we started our trek back to Asia.
Our Fast Passes were all up, so we headed into a non-exsistant line. This was everyones first trip on Everest, and I loved the themeing in the queue area. It makes it a lot more interesting than just boring metal poles.

Once we reached the loading area DD was given free choice of who she wanted to ride with, and of course she picked me. She was nervous of the yeti, but not the coaster itself. The ride was great! DD did a great job with it, of course I warned her when we were about to encounter the mean old yeti, so she could close her eyes.

After we exited, we headed over to It's tough to be a bug, which DD also didn't like. Way to scary according to her. Along the way we met up with the Pooh gang and snapped some pictures.

We were all a little tired out by this point, but we knew we really wanted to do the safari before we left, so we made our way back, hoping to score fast passes. Which, lucky for us, we did.
Since we had a little bit of a wait ahead of us, we made a trip to Rafiki's Plant Watch and wandered around for a bit.
DH found a lady he just HAD to take a picture with:rotfl:
And DD found her monkey friend.

We headed back and caught our safari trip just in time to catch some poachers. We seen a lot of animals on our trip. Plus, our safari guide let us sit up front, and had everyone wish us congrats on the count of 3.:goodvibes

After we busted the poachers we started to head towards to front of the park to make the trip back to the hotel. On our way, we had our first encounter with one of my faves!

Stitch was a big hunk of love!
I love Lilo's expression in the back of the picture too.

After our fun with our little alien buddy, we headed out of AK and caught our bus back to the hotel. We didn't have any dinner ADR's for the day, so we all grabbed something at the hotel to satisfy our hunger.

After we ate, we made a trip to Walmart to pick up some Pepsi:woohoo:, beer and some snacks. We were total pooped after that and headed into bed.
Sunday was going to be a MGM day, with dinner at 50's Prime Time, and I couldn't wait!

Day 3
October 21

I must have been very lazy with my camera on Sunday, because I've only found 3 pictures from our day at MGM.

We once again woke up to a crazy blue alien yelling at us via the phone. We quickly put an end to his loud wake up call and hopped into getting ready mode. About an hour later we were on our way to MGM.

Our plan of attack was to do RnRc and Twilight Zone right from the get go, which were both accomplished easily. DD made it through the pre-show on Twilight Zone and we took the chicken exit while my parents rode, and Matt and I swapped off with them after their ride.

We headed over to RnRc, and DD was just a tad to short to ride, so we swapped out once again and got our fix of coaster for the day. We headed over to Narnia, and the Great Movie Ride. After our journey through the movies we made a stop at Pizza Planet to grab some lunch, which was pretty tasty! We spent some time in the arcade and just wasted some time doing nothing.

We did grab a Backlot Tour, and then split from my parents for a while since they wanted to do some shopping. DD was obsessed with checking out the Honey I Shrunk the Kids movie set playground, and she was very impressed with being shrunken to the size of an bug. There were a LOT of people and it was very hot, so we cut our adventure a little short and decided to find something indoors and cool. After DD's negative review of A Bug's Life, I was a little nervous about doing any more 3-D shows, but we decided to give Muppets a try anyways.
She loved the pre-show area, and got quite a few laughs out of the jokes, and ended up really enjoying this show.

Afterwards, we met back up with my parents since we all wanted to check out Lights, Motor, Action! and we made our way back to the show area about 40 minutes prior. We were glad we got there early, as there was already a huge line. Once we filed in and got our seats, we settled in for about a 25 minute wait. During our wait, the wind picked up and dark clouds started closing in.

They kept making an annoucement about the weather, but we hoped for the best, and were not disappointed!

I LOVED this show. It was worth the wait, and I would have liked to have caught it again, but we only headed back to MGM once during the trip and it was only for dinner.

By the time we got through the throngs of people it was time to start heading to 50's Prime Time Cafe. On our way over the skies opened up and sent people running for cover. We were near the Indy show, so we made it over fairly dry, and headed inside to check in.

After a short wait we were seated and our Aunt Ellen brought us some great food, and I got a short lecture on why napkins are on the table. She was great and really played up the part, and we had a great time. It was a EMH night at MGM, but none of us really felt like staying after dinner. So we headed out to get some sleep for Monday.

Matt's family had arrived Sunday night, and we were meeting everyone for breakfast at O'hana's in the morning, and spending the day at MK. We also had to pick up the tuxes, the first and only fiasco wedding related.

Coming up:
Do we make it to midnight with EMH?:confused3
What the heck happened to our tuxes?:scared1:
Aloha Cousins!stitch2
