After all of the negative reviews I've seen lately I had to post about our dinner on Friday night. We have been dining at 'Ohana since 1999, so we've seen the ups and downs with the menu. I have to say that after our meal on Friday night, they probably need to stick with the current one. The salad, as usual, was wonderful, followed quickly by the wings(I didn't eat any, too messy) and the most delicious pot stickers! There was a plate of broccoli, snow peas and some other veggie, what can you say about veggies, right? Meats and shrimp were tasty and not overcooked or undercooked. The lo mein noodles reminded me of the ones they served in '99. As usual the bread pudding was great! Definitely two thumbs up!

Thanks for the report. We love Ohanas. When I originally planned our upcoming trip I left it out in order to try something new, and my family protested, so we will be eating there next week.

We feel the same way. We've been dining at Ohana since our honeymoon in 1999 as well and we've never had a bad meal there. On our trip back to the World this past September, we figured what a great way to end the trip was to have our last dinner at Ohana. As usual, it did not disappoint. Dh and I were raving about the noodles as well as everything else. Even our girls had a great time with the activities they did with the kids.

For us as well, it was the best meal of the trip by far.:thumbsup2

We be eating there for dinner on Fri
Thank you for the review

Hope you'll have the lovely "ice castle" view! They lit the castle with the holiday ice lights on Saturday night. It truly is gorgeous! Sadly though, there was no sign of the Gingerbread house at the GF yet. I think I saw on the daily info channel at the resort that it will be up on the 17th!

Oh, yay! I'll be there on the 19th!

Sayhello

I was told (threatened, actually) that I had to book Ohana for our June trip, at least once. We'll probably end up eating there twice!!! I love those noodles!

We have an ADR for Saturday evening. I'm really looking forward to this dinner!

Glad to hear!! It's also our favorite TS. I thought I read on allears that the scal. potatoes were back in lieu of the noodles?? :confused3

At least this report clears up the noodles vs. potatoes debate. Last week they were serving noodles.

(I would love to try Ohana while they still have noodles - the scalloped potatoes bored me, you can make those out of a box at home - but I can't get anyone to go because they all wanted potatoes...)

Glad to hear it! 'Ohana has been a fave of our family until 9/07 when we had a dreadful meal there ... we skipped it by family consensus in 9/08 but I did book it for DS and myself in January. This makes me look forward to it!

Ohana's dinner was the best meal on our August trip, and we had a week of awesome meals. :)

The dessert--bread pudding with bananas foster sauce and ice cream--is seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted.

We are doing breakfast and dinner there...I can't wait...and I know my dd will enjoy the dinner activities!

I want to try 'Ohana during our trip next summer but I am afraid that my 37 yr. old daughter will not like any of the food. She is a simple food kind of girl[plain meat, mashed pot. and mac and cheese] and my grandaughter has very limited taste buds. Do they offer food for poeple with simple tastebuds?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We did Ohana last year and on free dining and loved it however not sure I'd pay for it as to much food for just me and DD. Its hard to get my DD to eat anything but chicken nuggets or grilled chicken at WDW.
