Back in UK - Highs and Lows

Lows - the weather, rain to heavy rain, very wet, everything was sodden.
Smoking - the usual, people lighting up in queues, smoking outside shops when we were trying to shelter or eat, I even saw someone entering the Studios smoking and the staff ignored it.
DW was unwell, bad cold but it meant we had to keep stopping for rest for her which meant we didn't get as much done.
Long queues in the Studios on our last day, meant we got nothing done in our last hour, we had hoped to do ToT.

Highs - Dreams was great - even though the rain got heavier as we waited.
Inventions, kids loved it, hardly ate anything but got loads of autographs.
Friday at the Studios - we pretty much did everything with only RC Racer and parachutes with a long wait. Didn't do Crush though.
Bendy buses for the kids - its one of the highlights for them standing in the bit that bends.
Eurostar/TGV - great way to travel

Sounds like a great trip overall Shame your DW was ill - always worse when on holiday. And the rain seems to be everywhere, what a pain.

Overall it was pretty good. We're back camping again until tomorrow and we had rain this morning but been dry since we woke but looks like it's starting again pity as kids pals have just come out to play. The pals are from Scotland too, our schools break up at the end of June so they were delighted to see our kids back after our Disney break.

glad you had fun, hope your dw is feeling better. aw the bendy buses dd2 had an obession with them a few yr back, we found a toy one in kuala lumpur airport at the time she had to have!! she still plays with it most days.
