Back in Arizona... I'm sad :(

Well I'm back in Arizona and back to work after a wonderful 5 day DLR trip with some good friends. I'm sad, but now I am more determined than ever to move to California. I have also created a Disney buddy who is becoming just as obsessed with DL as I am. He come over last night and we broke in my new deep fryer by recreating the DL Monte Cristo. They were amazing. We took pictures of the finished product and I will try to get them up on here soon.

But for now, I have one more DLR vacation to plan. My mother and I will be staying at the DLH from Sept. 25th through the 30th. I'm really looking forward to sharing my love of Disneyland with my mother. She's a little skeptical, but I think she will have a great time.

I had a great time... and I have so many wonderful DIS members to thank for it. I have always fancied myself as bit of a DL comando, but even I learned some things on here. All of you are wonderful!

It just gets closer and closer and before you know, its here already!!!

I agree, the good thing is I'm going back soon. The soonest my other DL obsessed friends are going to be able to go again will be in 2010. I can't wait for my vaca with my mother!.

I completely understand. We have a Nov. 2010 trip tentatively scheduled, but it's SO far away it makes me sad. My 5 year old is BEGGING to go back and if there was a way I could take him (and leave DH and my 3 YO DD home) I'd do it in a heartbeat.

At least when you got back to Arizona, you got a break from the 100+ degree heat. I'm really enjoying our great June weather. I'll have to check out your trip report. Sounds like you had a terrific time.

hahaha, its nice going there once a year. I go to Disneyland 5 times a week during busy season and 3 times a week during non busy seasons.

Why does one have to feel sad when returning from DL?? I was there at the beginning of June and I returned just totally bummed out and it took me a few days to snap out of it. I keep reading posts where people return sad. What can we do to avoid that?
