We are back home after a wonderful break in Anaheim and Vegas.
We had fantastic weather and the Sheraton Park was fantastic, I would recommend this hotel and the "Sweet Sleeper" beds are just soooooo comfortable.
Had 3 nights in Vegas which was great, The Secret Gardens at the Mirage were brilliant, lovely to see dolphins in a natural habitat and not performing for the crowds.
Did lots of shopping and the parks were brilliant, not that busy, except 4th July.
Have to say that Tony The Limo King gave us very poor service and after waiting over an hour and 3 phonecalls later, the limo turned up still dirty from the people before and not stocked up with anything other than 2 cans of pepsi. He then charged us more than the agreed price that he had quoted us so we decided not to use him for our return trip.
The weather was excellent and we just had a fantastic holiday, not sure when we will return, but hopefully not too long.
Simba,
had a quick look at your hotel and it looks great, you'll have a great time.
Off to bed now, having a bad time with the jetlag. Got home at 9pm last night (UK time) went to bed at 11pm and was up at 1am.

Sorry to hear about the Limo incident but glad the trip was a success. Welcome back. :)

You did the same trip I am doing in December. I was glad to see you stayed 3 nights in Vegas and it was great. I kniw now I won't take that limo service to my hotel in Vegas, I feel bad that you didn't have a good experience with the limo service. :sunny:

The limo was just one of those things, you get what you pay for and when we went to our welcome meeting with the tour rep, she said he didn't have a good reputation. We got the Disneyland Bus back to LAX and it was bang on time.
Already we have withdrawal symptoms, but after visiting the States 4 times in 5 years (3 to California and 1 to Orlando) we are having a rest from the long haul flights as we have the worst jetlag ever!!! I miss the Disney atmosphere and the smell of churros and the fireworks, but we have our photos and our memories.

ELLA!!!! I'm SO glad you had such a great time. :goodvibes You'll have to give us a bit more info. on what you did ASA the jetlag wears off. ;)

Pity about the limo though. :rolleyes2 Wasn't the best way to start off such a magical holiday was it?? :(

Sounds like you had a fantastic time though!!

Thanks a lot for checking out the hotel. :thumbsup2 I've been waiting for so long to see it now. When we actually check in and have the chance to check it out, it's gonna be so surreal because we've tried everywhere for pics of it. Only 6 days to wait now though. I think we can manage that. Lol.

Oh, where was your welcome meeting btw? I'm guessing that our one will be at the Hyatt (rubbing salt in the wounds - lol) so I dunno whether to be happy or sad about that. :rotfl:

Take it easy. Hope your jetlag wears off soon. ;)

Hi Simba
Wow, you must be so excited. You will love your hotel, it's really nice from what we could see, we didn't go in, just looked through the doors. It's in a good location, not too close to the parks, but close enough to walk and you have Target and the 99c shop just 5 minutes away.
We had our welcome meeting in our hotel at 9.30am on our first morning and it was Andrea again who we had the last time. We did the OC tour and the Legendary LA tour, we enjoyed them both, but preferred the LA one, Venice Beach was great I had a tattoo done when i was there.
Have a fantastic holiday.
Love Ella
