Back from Wonderland:wAlice,Madhatter,ChesCat&White Rabbit 11/11Thank You

Personally, I would give Rabbit one more day to recuperate. ::yes::

I am going to have to go look up the details about the Pirate Cruise. :rolleyes1

I wish I could steal all your ideas for Chelsea's 13th next summer.

Oh I wish that I had...:rolleyes1...but since he wanted to go and considering that I had agreed to do some volunteer time at the Scholastic book fair...we both went in at 9 and we both came at at 12...:rolleyes1...when his class came down to the book fair at 11:15-his teacher mentioned his energy and voice were both...:(...so I now have the guilt of feeling like a bad mommy...sigh...

YOU must go on the pirate's cruise...pirate:

:lmao:...Steal is such a harsh word-borrow is so much nicer sounding...and borrow away-I borrow from you all the time...:lmao:

:lmao: I forgot about dressing up as Abigail and John. I better start working on Marc about that. :rotfl2:

I didn't forget...;)

I'm with you--there should be a thermometer to tell you what to do. I hate making that call... Hope both of them are feeling better soon!

Denise
How awesome would that be...we can only hope...they are slowly on the upmend...

I'm back on page 36, the make-over pirate update and NONE of the pictures are appearing! :sad2: It says the picture has been moved or deleted?

I REALLY want to seeeeeeeee! :goodvibes

I'm going to go back and reload-starting from the back going forward...;)

Energy is good. Fever is one thing but I like to see some energy and appetite. It's hard to make the call when it is so fuzzy at times! I'm sure you've made the call by now...is it another day of DISing for you?

Energy is good and I'm hoping to see an increase this weekend...more Dising and now FACEBOOK...just signed up...:woohoo:

HI Patricia,

sorry the kids are sick, hope you and DH stay well! Did you keep David home today? :confused3

Sadly I did not...:confused3...I'm usually super cautious & the one time I'm not-he needed to do a half day...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the honest and good review of the Wave :thumbsup2 I printed off the menu from AllEars and jotted some notes by what you guys ordered...I would probably go w/ the Cinnamon-rubbed Grilled pork too...

the desserts look ever yummy...guess you can just go for those huh? ;)

The food was really tasty Julie-you can absolutely get a good meal there..)...I would just like them to see them pick an identity and stick with it...I don't think they can quite do both the green thing and the modern urban fun thing...based on what I saw them do well-the drinks, the steaks (and the pork tenderloin) fun, cool desserts- I think they should go that route and save the green concept for a time when they are ready to really commit to it...;)

question what time was your ADR and what day of the week was it? just curious if that made a difference to being so crowded...

It was 6 pm on Sunday night...all the tables seemed to be full and I'm sure that Free Dining was definitely making a difference...::yes::-It was the first week and the 3rd week of ?August so many people whose children hadn't started school again were able to take advantage of FD...

If we dine there next year, it probably would be on our arrival day which is a Friday for an early dinner.

You are right there at your homw in BLT-you should absolutely give it a try-the breakfast menu looks very nice...I'd give it a try again when we are going at least a full week long trip...:thumbsup2

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Love the Pirates cruise, sounds like so much fun and free piratey action too pirate: (w/ the free goodies ) The character action looks great....some of my favorite character experiences over the years have been w/ Captain Hook and Smee and Peter Pan.

I love the Peter Pan characters......I've always thought they'd make for a fabulous character breakfast...Hook, Smee, Peter and Wendy...

I think I saw Peter eyeing Alice a bit too....

Yeah...I was wondering about that...I'm thinking that may have also been part of Hatter's issue...;)

so glad you didn't get rained out too!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:yay: for booking the next WDW trip and that your in-laws are footing the bill...how fun, gotta love family huh? I kwym about once it's booked it feels real....I think I may be looking forward to December not for Christmas time but actually booking our trip finally!!!!:woohoo:

It is really sweet of them...they are lovely...I am just going to have to research and find things that I know they'll want to do ...don't see them doing Splash or RocknR with us...;)

love the possible new PTR title...very clever! I hope you share all about DL in Paris...so fun!
:thumbsup2

can't wait to see what AiW costumes you can come up w/....as you may remember I bought Mae the beautiful AiW costume this past March for next yr's trip in addition to Halloween next yr. My Mom said I should try to dress all the kids as characters...Michael would be the Mad Hatter, Aldine the Queen of Hearts (not that she is nasty) and My mom thought Margaret would make the cutest mouse in the Teapot....we'll see

I think your kids would be adorable dressed up from AiW-I remember Mae's Alice dress...I've seen some really nice Mad Hatter costumes for kids and men...I'm thinking about being the Queen of Hearts myself...:lmao:(I'm not going around the MK dressed as a large pink cat...:rolleyes1)...Ooo the little dormouse in the teapots...like the ride too...that would be darling...hmmm...that one you might have to make...Actually I'm thinking about it...it's probably too late for anyone to ship a Halloween costume on time so I might go check some of the websites in a little bit...:woohoo:

sorry to see your TR coming to a close soon....hope the last day is wonderful...your trip has been very magical pixiedust: IMHO.... well except for your crying moment :sad1:

Hmmm...yes well we have a little drama on our last day...but it all ends well...;)

lookingf orward to the end and the next PTR...

J~

Busy week and I am still so far behind, but I am half way through day 5. I love your little romantic interlude post. That was so cute. And I am really worried that you are getting ready to cry. Is this a meltdown? What is it about Epcot and meltdowns.? Fabulous pictures of the kids in all of the posts.

Is Alice feeling better????? There are so many sick kids around here right now. It's amazing. I hope she starts to feel better real soon!

Be back tomorrow to try to catch up!

That's right-didn't you have a hard time on Spaceship Earth...? Oh Gosh maybe there is some kind of mojo there (Epcot)...it's also a big kind of intense park...or maybe it's just DHs saying the wrong thing at the wrong time...:rolleyes1...just sayin...:rolleyes1

Hey there, Triple P!

Those were great posts about the Pirate League and the Pirate Cruise! pirate: And Yay for the Wilderness Lodge trip; I'm so excited for you!

Can I borrow your in-laws sometime? Mine are real party-poopers....

Kathy

YOU are probably on the plane right now...so I'm sending you easy, wonderful flight wishes...pixiedust:

Yep...I'm a big WL lodge fan...just like the AKL...the theming is so well done/escapist...it's also Alice's favorite Dis resort we stayed at...although I have a feeling that when we stay at Beach Club someday...it's be all over...;)

Yes my inlaws are very sweet but they are also big worriers...it's like their #1 hobby...hopefully we'll be able to distract them...:thumbsup2

So I mentioned to Marc that I promised we'd dress up as John & Abigail Adams. :rolleyes1

He has a deal for you. When we come to Philadelphia he wants you to all dress up too! He mentioned Benjamin Franklin and the liberty bell but I am sure those are neogotiable. :rotfl2:

We would happily dress up...lol...Philadelphia even has a character breakfast with Franklin...for real...at the Constituion Center which by the way is fabulous...

Hmm...Well Eric can be Ben Franklin...although I will not be Deborah Franklin...Ben may have been a great inventor, statesman, etc....but he was a hound dog as far as the ladies were concerned and I won't be married to him...:lmao:

I'm not sure about being the Liberty Bell but I would happily dress up as Betsy Ross...;)...she had her own small business and didn't have to tolerate a hound dog husband...

btw...David did go to his school Halloween parade today and I have to post some "young" George Washington pictures...:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: I think you would make an adorable Betsy Ross. I am very excited. Now where do I find John & Abigail Adams costumes? :rotfl2:

I can't believe that they have a breakfast with Ben Franklin! I really want to go to Philadelphia. My parents went last summer on a tour of PA and they didn't like Philadelphia but I think it's because they didn't plan it right and got overwhelmed. It's on my list of things to do! :thumbsup2

:lmao:...Steal is such a harsh word-borrow is so much nicer sounding...and borrow away-I borrow from you all the time...:lmao:

Don't feel like a bad mommy -- three hours isn't the end of the world. Did you buy any good books at the book fair?

Okay, I will use borrow from now on. ;)

I saw your post about joining Facebook -- I love FB! I will PM you my information in case you want to be my "friend" on there. ;)

Welcome to the wonderful world of timesuckage that is....FACEBOOK!

I know...it's only been 48 hours...and between Disboards...and Facebook...I can hear the time being sucked away...:lmao:

YOU would have so much fun in Philadelphia...:woohoo:(Have you seen the movie "National Treasure"...a big portion of that was shot in Philadelphia...There is Independence Hall, The Constitution Center, the Bell, Elfreth's Alley, Reading Terminal Market ...for a quick day trip...there is Valley Forge...and tons of other stuff...we have great restaurants in all price points, etc...(Philadelphia is actually becoming hip...at least according to the travel magazines...YOU would have a fab time...I would plan your itinerary-I love planning itineraries :woohoo:... and I would actually dress up like Betsy if you'd like...:lmao:

Jackie-I sent you a friend request...I hope you accept or I will be sad...:rolleyes1

Yes I know I'm not a bad mommy...but I still felt bad...:sad2:-fortunately he's bopping around the house this morning...ENERGY...yeah..:woohoo:

Oh heck yes...I bought books...I bought a couple of books on the teacher's request list, One for the school library and about 5 for David including a Flat Stanley World Adventure's book, A Stink Moody Book-brother of Judy Moody, a book about mummies, The Stinkey Cheese Man-which is fun now that we've read all the fairy tales-so he gets all the humor... and a kid's biography of Picasso...(he has eclectic tastes...:lmao:) I was extremely good and bought nothing for myself-even though there were adult books...:woohoo:

Patricia -

I have been reading your updates late at night (and sometimes I get forgetful when I'm tired). Did I ask you this......do you live in Philly know? Just curious. I feel like I asked this already, but I'm having a senior moment. I grew up outside Philly and we used to go to all the tourist attractions a couple times every year. We always took the train. I haven't been is so long, I need an updated tour. I coming when you take LL on her tour!

I am so glad you just had little tears in Epcot. And Rabbit was so sweet, as only a young boy can be.

Porr rabbit - having to fight for the CM's attention in China. And no certificate. Well, that is just WRONG!

Your dinner at Chefs looked good. To bad it was just "eh".

I really want to do a Kim Possible mission, but I can never get anyone to do one with me. Next trip - I'm going on my mission solo!

Well, I am closing in. I only have a few more updates before I totally catch up.

Hatter decided to "Help" me since things were looking a bit disorganized and He rearranged my photos and put everything in folders....

:scared1:

Does everyone else know what that means....?

I now have missing photos in my trip report-in fact my previous update has been wiped out of photos...

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I didn't see this note before I posted my comment about them all missing. That is just awful, and Photobucket can be sooooo slow, moving stuff around and fixing it all...ugh. :sad2: I just went through the update without pictures-it was still wonderful and I got to see the kids at the Wave with their make-up all done up! :thumbsup2 They look awesome!!

We booked Alice's 16th B-day getaway from October 6th through the 11th...
(so 6 days, 5 nights...)

at the Wilderness Lodge...

and my in-laws have generously offered to pay for it...:faint:

:yay::yay: Congratulations!!!!!!!! A very nice travel year awaits you!!!! ::yes:: I like the "side of French Fries" PTR title too!

I've just come across your TR. Okay so maybe I didn't just come across it because it took me a while to read it so I should really say I'm finally caught up with your TR.

Loved hearing about your time in NYC. I keep meaning to plan a family trip there. I've got to get going on before my DD9 is too old for american girl place.

How exciting to be bumped up to concierge! So jealous.

I agree with you about your foodie rant and your asperger's sidebar. It's your TR and you should feel free to voice your own opinions. But on a positive note I'm glad you found the right the school for rabbit.

I think every family has a meltdown in Epcot. It seems to be where we all hit the wall.

Your family are much more courageous eaters than mine is. That's why we're part of the disers who dine at le cellier. I wish I could get them to expand their tastes a bit more.

Nah...you aren't having a senior moment...hmmm or if you are that means I am too...:lmao: (I prefer to say I'm in need of caffeine...;)... I live just north of Philadelphia...suburbs-although I grew up in the city... (depending on traffic-I can make it in 25 minutes...(20 on an early Sunday morning...;)...you may have heard of Jenkintown/Abington...(I provide the local Starbucks/B&N with 25 % of their annual revenues...:lmao:...Chestnut Hill is 15 minutes away...love the Avenue...:goodvibes

I love Center City and we are flirting with the idea of moving into it...it's funny because it's become much cooler/"hipper" than when I was a kid...it's funny to me to see all the restaurants listed in F&W and the sites in Travel and Leisure...I'd love to have you come when I give LL her tour...the more the merrier...:thumbsup2

Rabbit is just a sweet kid...he had no idea that no hard he tried his sister's feminine wiles were just going to win out...(even thought Em wasn't really even trying to use her feminine wiles...this CM just thought she was cute...:confused3

Chefs wasn't bad...I just should have stuck with something more tried and true...in some restaurants that is probably just better M.O.

Personally I thought KP was a total hoot...:thumbsup2...sometimes though I think they need to watch how they time how many are on a mission in a Country at the same time...(don't want the surprises ruined...) I would do a mission by myself in a heartbeat...

Well I'm glad you're reading along...and I plan on finishing up this TR this week so I can begin my PTR next week...:lmao:

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I didn't see this note before I posted my comment about them all missing. Hey Brook...yeah the whole photobucket thing is a big pain :headache: but Hatter promised he'd go in and help me fix it before I close this report...:rolleyes1...I noticed today something else is up with a bunch of people TR's and photobucket...something about updated...:confused3...have to take a look at that too...

Yeah...I think "Back to Wonderland with a side of French Fries" is going to be it...;)

I've just come across your TR. Okay so maybe I didn't just come across it because it took me a while to read it so I should really say I'm finally caught up with your TR.

Hey Diamond...thanks for posting and :welcome:

Well if you liked reading about NY..then you might enjoy the beginning of my next PTR...we're going overnight this weekend to NY and I'm going to do a mini ...very mini...tr about it in my new PTR...;)...which I'm hoping to have up on Friday...with any luck...

The American Girl Store...:cloud9:...love, love it...-you should make it a point to go in the next year or two...take cash...:lmao:...It is wonderful...(That is another place along with Disney that even though you know you're spending $$$...it is so well done and their products are such good quality/well done that is takes a bit of the sting out...(if you go-make a ressie for the cafe...breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner...so cute...;)

The bump to concierge was quite magical...:goodvibes

Yes Epcot does seem to bring out something in everyone...it's wonderful but also so big...maybe that's it...or it sort of has that split personality thing going on...maybe that's what everyone is reacting too...I don't know but it does seem to be where lot melt downs happen...

Yes...I think everyone is entitled to have their opinions and not have them belittled...I hate that...plus if everyone like exactly the same things...what fun would that be...I enjoy reading about other people's experiences (even if they might not be something I would do...for exactly that reason ...I get to learn/find out about something I might not otherwise...)

My family are usually really good/even experimentive eaters...Sadly though...I would love to go to Le Cellier...I just haven't been able to get the ADR for it...maybe next year...

Hoping everyone had a Happy Haunted Halloween...:goodvibes

Sadly because our house is on a road with no side walks we don't really get any trick or treaters...:confused3 but Hatter and I had been looking forward to going out with Rabbit in his George Washington Ensemble...(he went into school on Friday for the Halloween parade...) but sadly it was drizzly and damp and his energy level was just kind of stinky...so Hatter went off and got a whole bunch of candy and a really cute Mickey Pumpkin to but it in at our Walgreens...not quite the same but still lots of good candy...;)

Fortunately on Sunday-his energy was starting to increase...and he was back back in school yesterday but home today because of Election day....we've made pumpkin muffins and pumpkin soup---the soup reminds me of something from Boma...little curry powder and coconut milk and chicken stock and of course pumpkin in it...

Alice on the other hand...had a Halloween party Saturday night and I think she thought she was faking me out a bit about "how well she felt"...sigh... God forbid she miss the party but she got an earlier curfew than usual...(and she has her belated Halloween/Birthday party here on Friday night...-Lord help us....

Once I figure out what is going on with photobucket today...I''ll post a couple of Halloween photos...

I am going to write up our last morning/day...:sad1:, do a little wrap up, probably write a somewhat mushy thanks for reading along letter and then begin my PTR "Back to Wonderland with a side of French Fries..." hopefully by Friday...since we are going to NY overnight on Saturday... and then I can post that stuff on the new PTR...in the mean time can anyone tell me...

How do you make those banners in your siggies that are made out of photos?

(As always any and all help accepted and appreciated...

YUM! That sounds good.

3 ways to do it on the banners.

1. Upload whatever pics you want to photobucket at the "small" or whatever is smaller than that size. Put them in your siggie side by side, no space. You can fit about 5 I think at the small size before it will run down onto the next line.

2. Do a ticker that lets you create a banner with pics or lets you put one on either side of the actual ticker.

3. Create a new long collage of the pics you want and upload that. For me that never worked as the sizing somehow got off but I'm sure I just wasn't doing it right.

Sounds like your Halloween was not all lost in illness! :thumbsup2 I am glad that you still managed to have some fun!

I can't believe that your TR is coming to an end!! It was so much fun to read along! Thank you so much for your Wave review, as nodnol already said, it really confirmed our feeling about it! It looks like a great hotel restaurant and if the CR were in any other place (as it easily could be), I would be very tempted to eat there. But WDW offers other places that just are more special! :goodvibes

nodnol and I will travel to Nuremberg together in about two weeks and I think we really should take a DLP map with us to spend the tiem on the train discussing our recommendations for your new PTR! By the way, I love the title!! I am so bad about coming up with titles, I hope nodnol as the writer (she has a degree in journalism) will be of some help with that... :rolleyes1 I just read on a DLP website that their "celebration" next year will be the next generation of Disney characters: Tiana, Remy, Woody, Buzz, Lightning McQueen... Oh, and did you notice that the Euro is dropping? It wasn't supposed to do that until February 5... :headache: I guess you were really unlucky with the time when you paid your down payment for the appartment... So was I in August when I paid off a huge chunck of our Disney trip. Exchange rates are a nightmare!!! I am so glad that we don't have to bother with that anymore in most of Europe!

Chelsea is still not back to normal yet -- still running a fever -- but insisting she feels well enough to go to school. Sigh. I hate that she is missing so much school.

I can't wait to hear all about Alice's birthday party on Friday -- I am sure there will be some "fun" stories about that.

Cool. I am totally up for this tour. We will do a Philly DIS meet. I've lived in Delaware for a bagillion years, so I don't remember much about Philly, except how to get to the airport and the zoo. I don't think that counts. :rotfl:

Center City is about all I've been to...I did a pretty cool project there back in the days of the big green dot.

Loved the area.

CAN A GOOD DREAM BECOME A NIGHTMARE AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM?

Monday Morning. The last day I would wake up to this view...The savanna at the AK...lovely sun and animals...:goodvibes

(The original plan was to pack everything the night before...but by the time we got back after our cruise and finally got all of Rabbit's pirate make up off...we were all wiped out...and those mattresses on the beds at AKL are absolutely yummy so it was time to rest...):cloud9:

Well time to get done, packed, eat breakfast and get over to the MK for a last bit of magic before it was time to go back home...we checked our bags in with the bell captain and knew we'd have to be back for our ME bus by 2:00. We actually didn't make it to the park until 10-which for us is like the same as getting there after lunch for some people...knowing Hatter's proclivity for being there at rope drop...I could swear I almost saw his eye twitching...(and sadly I think he's turned me../ I'm starting to groove on rope drop too...)

I always like to end up at the MK...I don't know why...I think because when everything is said and done...The Magic Kingdom is kind of the crystallization of everything that I love about Disney...the best of Americana, fairytales, adventures and scary but not too scary stories...you can be a princess, a pirate, a fairy or just a huge fan of the beginnings and the best of movie magic...so for whatever reason it's a tradition to spend the last morning here...

We hadn't really spent time in Tommorrowland...so that's where we were headed...(we had 11:15 ressies as the Plaza-something we've actually done unconsciously the last several trips...so I guess that's become something of a tradition too...)

100_1077-2.jpg

We headed over to Buzz thinking we might need fastpasses but as fate had turned out...this was the Monday that Florida goes back to school so it was pretty empty...we walked right on...now I had always loved this ride but after TSM...as much as I still like it...I have to say I like TSM even more...the theming and the ride itself...although I still get a big kick out of zapping zurg...Heck I LOVE TSM while I really like Buzz...

We then moved on to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor...(BTW it pained me greatly that SpaceM was closed for refurbishment...I love SM...ironically I have an easier time on SM than on Splash which both Alice and Hatter think is bizarre but that is just the way it is...Laugh Floor was of course very funny...Rabbit thought this was just about one of the funniest things he has ever experienced...and he was laughing so loudly at everything I had to laugh at his laughing...(7 year old boys have very interesting senses of humor....):rotfl:

100_1069-2.jpg

We puttered a bit and then made our way over to the Plaza for lunch...by this point even though it was early we were all pretty hungry...

100_1070-2.jpg

We pretty much all were in a burger and ice cream mood which is good-since that's good stuff to be going to the Plaza for...(hmmm....it's like the chicken and the egg...were we in the mood for burgers since we were going there or did the fact that we were going there put us in the mood for them?..) Anyhow...we had an interesting server whose name tag indicated he was from Tokyo...he was a good server...quick and efficient but he had an odd sense of humor...hmmm...kind of like he had learned his shtick from American tv...:dance3: which he might have and God knows his English was significantly better than my nonexistent Japanese...but I felt a bit like we were in a sitcom...But overall it was all good...cheeseburgers, milkshakes with a view of Cinderella's castle...

100_1075-2.jpg

100_1074-2.jpg

Next on our stop was a trip to see Donald's Philharmagic...the perfect post lunch attraction...We all love this one...again this is one of those great attractions that no matter what age you are...you can enjoy it...That's when my nightmare began...

I asked Hatter if I could have the camera so I could snap a couple photos waiting to go into the show...That's when Hatter said he didn't have the camera ...of course you have the camera...you always carry the camera...he is a type A with control issues...he carries the camera...the last time I had seen it was on the table at the Plaza...

Well Hatter's coloring wasn't looking too great at this point...and it's time to go in for the show...so we went on in and I tried as much as possible to enjoy it...I had out of "curiosity" asked him when he had downloaded the photos on the camera and it turned out...it had been several days...so everything from the day before ...Kidani...Sanaa...The Pirate's League...the Cruise...was on that camera and only on that camera...

So I'm starting to wonder how much you can raise your blood pressure by getting upset...and I'm actually not sure if the 3-D effects are making me a little dizzy or if that's just my reaction to being upset...I'm pretty sure its the latter...(Actually right about now I'm having a conversation with myself and starting to become slightly concerned that I'm answering myself...if anyone watches Dexter...you kind of know what I mean...even the way I'm writing this is kind of going back between 1st and 3rd person...just remembering the whole thing makes me discombobulated...

Well after the show...Hatter is going to run on ahead back to the Plaza to see if the camera is there...walking back just a bit more slowly...I have a conflicted moment...right by the side of the Castle are the Stepmother and Stepsisters from Cinderella...with a very short line...I am totally conflicted by my upsetness about the camera and another voice yelling in my mind "Use your cell phone...get a photo with the kids...when have you had this opportunity before...it's such a great photo op..." (Only a diehard Disney lunatic would probably be having this kind of internal argument...)

My upset self wins...and we go past (bye stepsisters) heading towards the Plaza where we see Hatter...no luck...:scared1:...Dang it...we are now on our way to file a missing item report...well hopefully find our missing item at City Hall...nope when we get there...no camera...missing report it is...(Right about now...I'm feeling like I'm in a Hitchcock movie...well at least in my head...the music...the strange angles.:scared1:..I cannot believe my camera is missing...(In the overall scheme of things...I know there are more important things going on in the world...but I still don't understand how this has happened...it is going to take all my self control to not freak on Hatter...but the look on his face stops me...he obviously feels horrible...what am I going to do throw salt on the wound...?:headache:

He decided he is going to run back and check our path again...In the mean time I don't really feel like going on any rides...but I do take the kids into the candy store...to poke around a bit...buy a copy of things...go back to hang out on the porch of City Hall waiting for Hatter...under normal circumstances this really wouldn't be such a bad view or thing to do...just hang...watching people...people who all have cameras...sigh...well things do get returned after the fact...right? We could get a call...

Just then my cell phone rings...I am opening some candy for Rabbit so I ask Alice to answer it and without saying a word tears off into City Hall...what the heck...several minutes later...she exits with...THE CAMERA...:worship:

some Good Samaritan turned it in:littleangel:...Hatter told her he got a call and to go in and get it...

Our own last bit of Disney Magic...The Magic Kingdom really is Magic...pixiedust:

Good bye Main Street...until we meet again...

Last day so sad:sad:
I love the Plaza as your accidental last meal tradition. It is such a great place. Not trying to be anything fancy, but has that great view of the castle. It's my favorite place to eat in the MK:goodvibes
And camera scare:scared1: I know how horrible that feeling is. Congratulations on your calmness. My camera scare involoved serious tears and trauma. I must commend your excellent self control;)

I'm sad that your report is coming to an end, but excited for you to start your PTRpopcorn::

Wow I would have been freaking out about the camera! What a relief!

How do I not know about the Plaza? I don't think it's ever been on my radar.

The American Girl Store......love, love it...-you should make it a point to go in the next year or two...take cash......It is wonderful...(That is another place along with Disney that even though you know you're spending $$$...it is so well done and their products are such good quality/well done that is takes a bit of the sting out...(if you go-make a ressie for the cafe...breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner...so cute...

I'm looking forward to hearing about it. My DD9 has a just like me doll and a bunch of clothing but we have never been to the actual store.
