Well where should I begin. So much to say. We returned Sat. night from a wonderful vacation. We were in Disney for 9 fabulous days! My mother and niece joined my husband and I for the first 4 days of our trip. The only sad thing about it is that hurricane Jeane decided to hit during their short stay, so they had one day ruined. Fortunately my niece had a great attitude and only had one small meltdown of tears due to boredom. I think she was totally entitled since we had been stuck in our resort room for about 24 hrs at that point. Other than that we had a blast. This was her first trip to Disney and I have to say that I was so happy that we were able to take her and see it through an 8 year olds perspective. (We don't have kids....yet) Also one thing about the way we told her about the trip. We had been keeping it a secret from her since April. (We were all about to bust, but managed not to tell her.) We left on a Friday and told her the Wed. before. I made a scavenger hunt and each clue was a piece of the sentence telling her she was going. It was a lot of fun and she loved playing the game.

We had reservations for both princess breakfasts but did the one at MK first. I told my niece we were having brkfst at the castle, but didn't tell her about the princess surprise awaiting her. (Aurora is her fave) As we were waiting in the lobby, the Fairy Godmother came out. She was talking w/all the little girl's and said that Cinderella would be out very soon. I was glad I hadn't said anything because the reaction from my niece was priceless! When she heard that, her face lit up and she ran to me telling me the good news! Imagine her surprise when we walked up the winding staircase and saw the rest of the princesses in the dining room. It was so great to see her excitement and anticipation of meeting all of them. We actually got a window table. My entire family really enjoyed this whole experience. The food was great and we truly had a wonderful time at both brkfsts. I was very excited to meet Mulan and Jasmine at the 2nd brkfst, as I haven't had the chance to meet them before in the parks.

After their 4 days ended and we took them to the airport I have to admit I was bummed out for about a day. I suppose I just felt a little guilty still being there without them. I don't think I would have felt so bad if the hurricane hadn't ruined some of the things I had planned for them. I guess I just wanted them to see a little more. Unfortunately she didn't get to see any firework shows. But I know they had a good time and my niece did get to see most of the big stuff. (She rode space mountain twice) After the sadness passed I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation with my husband.

We went back to MK and rode everything several times. Even though the park seemed to have people everywhere, there wasn't a wait for anything. We never even used a fastpass. (Most of them were closed anyway) We didn't need to. We also went to Epcot about 5 times over the next few days. Mission Space is truly amazing! We were able to go to the Food & Wine festival on the last 2 days of our trip. We had never been to it, but would definately go back. We blew so much $$ at the food booths and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. It was so fun trying new things and wonderful desserts. I posted on another thread about the festival so I won't dwell on it too much here. We also spent a day at both Universal parks. If you haven't ridden the new Mummy ride it is a must if you like roller coasters! I loved this ride and rode it 3 times. (Once by myself).

Oh, I almost forgot.....We also ate at Le Cellier. Absolutely fabulous! My husband got the NY strip and said it was the best steak he ever had. I had the filet mignon and it was equally good. The service was great. I would go back in a heartbeat. Sorry I've started to bounce around a little on subject. I keep remembering things as I write. I loved, loved, loved, the new 3D show at MK. The animation is breathtaking. Ok, I couldn't leave that out. I'm sure I'll post more later (sorry) as magic memories float through my head. If you made it all the way to the end thanks for reading my annoyingly long post!

I'm so happy to hear this. I've never eaten at Le Cellier, but I'm in search of the best WDW steak, so I'll definitely be eating there!

Great report! Thanks
