Hi all.
Had a great trip at the Dolphin. We found a super deal for a three-day weekend at the Dolphin on Travelocity in January - a little over $500 for flights and hotel (me and the hubby for our 25th anniversary in a king bed room).
We really enjoyed our stay. We were on the 12th floor. The hallways haven't been redone yet, but our room was totally redone. We had the heavenly bed (it slept great by the way), a couch (which I think also would make an additional bed). Our room overlooked the service area, but we had a perfect shot of the Magic Kingdom and Wishes from our window (so no complaints here!)
We are DVC members so we received 20% off on most of the places to eat at the Swan and Dolphin. The next time we stay at the Boardwalk or Beachclub on points we are definitely going back over to the Swan and Dolphin for some meals!
Our bill had an error on it at checkout, but it was taken care of without a hassle (we were charged for something on the mini bar and we never used the mini bar). But, the front desk clerk said no problem and took it right off.
Would gladly return to the Dolphin if I got another great rate. Probably won't ever find another deal like that - basically paid around $60 a night for the Dolphin.
