We returned today from 7 nights in a refurbished GV at OKW - 4823. They are currently working in the South Point area; in fact, the bus stop had been relocated temporarily to an area in front of our building. At check in, the CM told us that the next area of work would be bldgs. 11-14 because there had been some complaints/concerns that none of the Hospitality area had been done.
Our unit was in wonderful shape, of course. I really didn't mind as much of the redecorating as I thought I would EXCEPT FOR the dark head boards. The roman shades in the living room are very nice as is the braided rug. The new sleeper chair looks much nicer in person. You can't see the nuance on the fabric in the pictures which have been posted. It's comfy to sit in, but no one slept on it, so I can't comment on that. I DO like the carpet they put in the bedrooms.
Also, it seems like some of the foliage has been cut back making the views more accessible.
I'll be glad to answer any questions that I can.
