We had a wonderful 2 week and arrived home on the day and time we were scheduled. We did keep an eye on what Izzy was doing and where she was going to hit. After getting stuck in Italy on our last trip. The last thing I wanted was to spend my day stranded in an Italian Airport. Been there, done that, hope to never have that experience again.

I did get to visit a few Disney Stores (talk about a sickness) seeking out Disney Stores in Italy.
I found 3, one in Rome, one in Florence (had visited this store before) and one in Venice.
This was our first trip to Venice, we loved it and will return. My favorite area's were the rolling hills of Tuscany. (their hill are mountains) and your legs let you know it.
I had seen a small area of the Tuscan hills before, but never visited the walled cities or the country side. I can only say it's breathtaking. A beauty that has to be seen and experienced.
I had hoped to meet up with Tiggerlover (Debbi) but it was not to be this trip. Maybe next time. I'll have to add Verona to my next schedule. From what I've read it a great city to visit.
