Back from Florida

Well we got back on Friday after 17 days in Florida, I have to be honest and say that it wasn't a good trip!

Highs

Finally plucking up the courage to ride EE! I loved it and ended up riding it many times in a row!

The weather for the first few days was fabulous, very hot and sunny

The Beach Club Villas - amazing hotel, incredible location, we loved being able to stroll to Epcot and the Boardwalk, the pool was brilliant, we had a perfect view of illuminations from our balcony.

Being back in Disney - enough said!


Lows

The weather - after the first few days the weather was just awful, it felt like it never stopped raining! There were so many thunderstorms and everytime there was the pools etc closed. We went to the waterparks twice and both times the flumes and pools etc would close every 45 mins or so which was really frustrating. And Fay arrived and that was that!

My marriage - this was the main problem during the holiday, we just didnt get on and half way thru the trip we decided to split up.

Ill - We both came down with really, really bad colds in the last week, this combined with the weather meant that we didnt do any of the parks in the last part of our stay.


So, not a great trip! I'm really disappointed as I had been looking forward to it so much.

Dont really know what to say, hope it works out with the outcome you want

We have had 2 adult only trips in which the weather was horrid, and although you try and enjoy it, it does spoil the holiday

Sending you a big , Im really sorry to hear you didnt enjoy your trip and other problems added to that. The sad thing about going on a holiday like this is the cost and planning and I think we expect everything to be perfect and when things dont work out as planned we are gutted. Look on the bright side all your downs will eventually turn into possitives and may be next time you are back living w the magic you will look back on this trip and laugh - who ever you go with! Life is to short to be unhappy and miserable - try to keep smiling.

If it makes you feel any better DD always associated rain with Epcot as when we are there it always pours and she has asked me if it will rain when we are there this year

Jen, sorry to hear that you and Alex have decided to go your separate ways. I honestly hoped you had managed to sort out your differences and that this trip would help you turn a corner.
