...and had an awesome time! Won't be able to do a trip report until the weekend but here are the highlights:
The Newport Bay Club was amazing, a lovely hotel. Room was massive and very clean, tidy and spotless and I loved the shower curtain.
We had breakfast in the park on Tueday at 9:45 at the newly refurbished Plaza Gardens. This was excellent and a far cry from the 'Good Morning Fantasyland' breakfast fiasco we had back in 2002.
Weather was hit and miss. Monday afternoon was sunny, Tuesday was constantly raining and then bright sunshine and Wednesday was glorious sunshine, almost t-shirt weather!
Parks were busy but not rammed. Tuesday was dead and we did all the rides we wanted to multiple times, Wednesday was very busy however most rides seemed to be walk-on's. It was almost as if the people had come out to walk around in the sunshine. Good news for DLRP....3 hour wait for an Annual Pass on Wednesday
Half board vouchers were amazing, I still can't get my head around spending £13 and getting 25 euro's worth of food in Annettes but it's excellent value.
I've taken some pictures of some of the new merchandise that I'll post asap!
