...and had an awesome time! Won't be able to do a trip report until the weekend but here are the highlights:

The Newport Bay Club was amazing, a lovely hotel. Room was massive and very clean, tidy and spotless and I loved the shower curtain.

We had breakfast in the park on Tueday at 9:45 at the newly refurbished Plaza Gardens. This was excellent and a far cry from the 'Good Morning Fantasyland' breakfast fiasco we had back in 2002.

Weather was hit and miss. Monday afternoon was sunny, Tuesday was constantly raining and then bright sunshine and Wednesday was glorious sunshine, almost t-shirt weather!

Parks were busy but not rammed. Tuesday was dead and we did all the rides we wanted to multiple times, Wednesday was very busy however most rides seemed to be walk-on's. It was almost as if the people had come out to walk around in the sunshine. Good news for DLRP....3 hour wait for an Annual Pass on Wednesday

Half board vouchers were amazing, I still can't get my head around spending £13 and getting 25 euro's worth of food in Annettes but it's excellent value.

I've taken some pictures of some of the new merchandise that I'll post asap!

Welcome back :wave2:

Glad you had a great time, can't wait to see pics of the new merchandise.
How did you get on changing at Lille?

Welcome back! I am happy that you had a great time! I am really interested in your trip report, because we are going to the same hotel in June, from Monday to Wednesday as well and we have included the half board vouchers in the package. So, I am looking forward to read your news about the park and the accommodation. :)

Welcome back :wave2:

Glad you had a great time, can't wait to see pics of the new merchandise.
How did you get on changing at Lille?

We didn't have to in the end, at check in at Ashford they told me that Travel Agents shouldn't be selling in-direct trains and that we could stay on.

I didn't want to tell him that we had bought direct from them incase he told me I had to change :cool1:

Good news you didn't have to change....glad you and Kaycee had a great time, but I bet you're glad to get back to your new little one though! Bet he's changed a tiny bit even in that short time.

@ britchic4 - Yeah I missed him loads and he has gotten much bigger since I left!

Welcome back John! glad to hear you liked the NPB, its a nice hotel! Cannot wait to read your tr :)

Welcome back, it's like your second home!

So how did you find the HB vouchers then, i think im tempted by them this time especially with the whole exchange rate.

But do you have to book with Disney to get them? Or just stay in a Disney Hotel? and does that include off site Disney such as explorers and kyriad.

Maybe i should go and have a look but the search function never works for me on here.

Glad it was sunny for you:cool1:

@ ghockley1981 - They were brilliant, I kept thinking that there would be a catch to them but there really isn't! You can get them as long as you are staying at an on-site hotel howver I don't know if you can add them if you book through Expedia. I think they are only if you book through an agent or if you book through Disney themselves.

damn it, im booking it through Eurostar as it's working out so much more cheaper than anywhere else at the moment. may stay at the sante fe though. the extra money i'd be spending on that i could then claim to be saving money eating out! lol ;)

hmmm deep thought

Welcome back....so glad you had a great time :thumbsup2

Im pleased to hear you liked the hotel as we are staying there in the summer....will you have any pics of the hotel to share pretty please!? :)

oh i see reading it back again.
