We had a wonderful time while at DL. Our stay was from June 2nd to June 8th. We stayed in the Disneyland Resort, Dreams tower room 2032. They upgraded us to a pool view room and it was wonderful. The rooms were in great shape (at first) and loved being so close to DD and the elevators.
Now that was not our big upgrade. Sometime during the week our bathroom slowly went down hill. Toilet was having trouble, rattling and things like that. I went to take a bath one night. Water would not go down. Started hearing funny noises coming from the toilet. Needless to say when the toilet flushed, messed up the tub that would not go down. UGH! Called Disney services. They laughed at us on the phone saying that it could not be that bad and they would send someone up. Well when they got to the room and looked at what happened they were surprised and told us we would have to leave the room. This was a real problem because they said the two were not connected. Oh great. Had to start packing up everything. They call down and tell them we had to leave the room. So we wait and they finally call us back to tell us they are sending bell services to get our things and move us. I ask where, and they said we would still be in the dreams tower, just moving us up. They moved us up alright. Right to the California Suite. Talk about customer service! Room was beautiful and more than we could have though because of a little trouble. The hotel also treated us to breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. Disney magic
The parks were wonderful. We didn't have to stand in line for long. Longest lines were for Toy Story Mania. Indiana Jones broke down a couple of times during our trip which made our fast pass lines much longer. Even though fantasmic and the parade in California Adventure was down, nothing detracted from our trip. The new fireworks show was nice. Loved Dumbo flying around the castle. Very magical
We just can't wait to go back to see all the new and exciting things that they will be doing in the coming years!
