Well, after a couple days at Disneyland Paris on my way to a cruise of the Riveras, I was disappointed. The park had the look of Disney, but lacked something. I'm not sure if the fact that it is a different culture or what. But the "go the extra mile" attitude was missing. The "pride" was missing. We had a few problems but nothing major. But even the characters didn't seem in character, as far a movements. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right to get the point a cross....but WDW and Disneyland have them far beat!!!

Well, since this is a pin board...on about the pins. There were few people (I mean few 2) that wore landyards and I was one. No one at the trading spots. And all the pins on the staff lanyards were US rack pins. I only found a few LE pins.

Over all I of course had fun because it was Disney.

Hi Connie,

Welcome back - so sorry that Disneyland Paris did not live up to your expectations - maybe that is why my stock is so low.

All, in all, hope you had a great time.

My dad, sister & step mom went there in late June and loved it. They spent most of the day at the studios, and did get me the two pins I aksed for. Apparently they ran into someone who works at WDW and is very pin knoledgeable, and bought me some special pin for Christmas. When I asked my dad how the Phantom Monor was (he said they had to go into MK to get this pin), he could not tell me that it was different. He needs to pay more attention!

Sorry that it wasn't up to American snuff. You must go to WDW or DL to get your fix!:earsgirl:

I can't wait till New Years to get my fix. I still had alot of fun there. The Studios was nice. There were some rides that the states didn't have.

I guess I was just disappointed when I got to my room and the bathtub was cracked, the wall paper was falling off, the safe didn't work and so I put a do not disturb sign out and they still came into my room and stuff was missing, and that was just the room.

Then noone wanted to trade with me.

But maybe I'm just alittle picky.

:p
