This was the first year they had the convention in Pasadena. I went to Valley Forge last year and it was soooooo much better.
The vendor fair was VERY small. That didn't stop me from spending a lot of $$ though
The classes were ok. I took the Latest and Greatest with Basic Grey, Sketchabilities, Lovely Layered Layouts, For The Record, Photos First, and 6 Layouts in 60 Minutes. None were knock your socks off classes but I did get a bunch of nice pages done.
My new favorite product as used in the Photos First class is Glitter Mist. It was great for chipboard and comes in great colors. It was flying off the shelf at the booth.
I ended up joining the kit club from Heartstring Designs. If you purchased a kit from their booth you got one free and then you just needed to purchase 2 more kits over the next six months to fulfill your obligation. It was $23 for three 2-pg layouts.
If anyone has specific questions about the classes or wants to see photos of the layouts from any class, please let me know!
