Our stay was 10/8 thru 10/14 and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in a studio (555), and I was VERY satisfied with the room's condition, the only thing bad worth mentioning was the queen mattress which was comfortable but a little saggy, and the comforter which looked a little worn as well. The only other funny thing was that we ordered daily housekeeping and they forgot to clean our room the first day, I called them up and got it straightened out; they came up and did a cleaning that night which we did not have to pay for.

We had requested a 'non-pool' view (since you can't formally request an 'epcot' view) on the 5th floor and got it. View was fantastic, wonderful sunrises, awesome epcot fireworks display (scared the pants off the 3 yr old every single night!). Noticed a little more traffic noise than usual; I attribute that to the increase in bus traffic due to Magical Express. My main complaints was the 'downshift gargling' noise from those buses, which could probably be avoided if they stuck to the speed limit (I know our bus driver was WELL over the posted 25 mph limit).

SAB was great, as ususal. And I love the game debit cards they dispense in the arcade now, so much easier than juggling tokens.

Magical Express worked wonderful. Our room was ready by 3pm, and all of our luggage was already in the room by the time we got up there. We will probably do this again next year as well.

Meal plan was a bit too much food for us. If we do this again, we need to find healthier places to have lunch, ate way too much fast food. I read yesterday that Disney is going to make an effort to offer healthier fast foods in the parks.

Park lines were very manageable, didn't make it to Soarin because we seemed to never make our fastpass time (which was always 3-5 hours from receiving the pass). Expedition Everest was a blast, similar to that first time on the Rockin Rollercoaster. Popular rides (for the most part) were about 20-30 wait.

Weather was excellent! Mid-80s, low humidity, only rained for 2-3 hours one day.

That's all, can't wait for next year!!

It sounds wonderful! We have found that first thing in the morning is the best time for Soarin, and now, lots of people find that's the case, and there's more of a line now than there used to be. Plan on seeing it next year!

We're leaving, ( for WDW), tomorrow!!!

I had BCV studio 555 this past May! Loved the room location - you're right, the view of Illuminations was awesome and it scared the pants off my 3 year old grandson also!! :cool1:

Sounds like a great trip! Thanks for the report. :sunny:

I'm just back from BWV 10/06-10/16. I'm surprised that you thought the lines and crowds were manageable. I've been to WDW at all different times of the year (never Summer) but have never seen it as crowded as last week. Had a great time but the crowds make me a little crazy.

I'm with you -- we just got back from BWV - 10/13 - 10/18, and over the weekend, the parks were as crowded as I ever remember, especially post- 9/11. Maybe because of food and wine, but it was very crowded. :confused3

Of course, I still had a terrific time!!
