Ian the guy that does not open up and she met his brother on the hometown dates, I believe in NYC. He is from Brazil.
Matthew is the other one...did you watch last week? I think Ian was the first to have an overnight with Meridith and Matthew was the second.

Ian seems strange to me. He didn't want her to meet his parents, he left her standing in the kitchen alone while he and his brother had a talk in the stairway.

This is my FIRST Bachelor/Bachelorette that I had NO clear favorite. I honestly like them BOTH!

Matthew is a doll and is every Mama's choice for her daughter, Ian is a mysterious cool guy, who would just be a mystery enough that a 30 year old woman would want to solve.

This one's a toss up, but I voted Ian, no ring.

Fromt he way Meredith's face always lights up when she's around Ian - I say that is who she will pick.

Also - Ian told Meredith he would NOT propose on TV and make it into a 3-ring spectacle - but he never said he wouldn't propose in PRIVATE. I think that's what will happen.

Okay, Matthew is GREAT and open and loving... I agree, the man every girl would bring home to meet her mother...

Ian, he has the sexy good looks and physical attraction going. He is the mysterious good-looking stranger.... From point one Meredith has been entranced, fixing his tie, etc....

I had been thinking Matthew since the VERY beginning!!! (I mean the moment he stepped out of the limo on the very first night...) But, after the last episode, I changed my mind.... My instincts are all telling me that she will choose Ian!

He definately is VERY private and he and his family do not want to be showcased on television. But, I am thinking now that there are probably reasons for this? We may never know?

I see Meredith as a being a mature worldly person, and see her choosing Ian over the simpler life in small town Texas with Matthew.

And, about the ring.... She did say that LOVE was more important than a ring. Love is what has to come first.

I'm with Robinrs - For the first time I don't see a clear front-runner. Ian caught my eye the minute he stepped out of the limo but I think at this point she could go either way. I like them both for different reasons, but I'm going out on a limb and saying that she'll choose Ian, and he'll propose (somehow, someway).

My vote's for Matthew - he's from Friendswood, TX which is only about 15 minutes away from where I live. He even came into the restaurant where I work about a month ago - he's gorgeous!

I noticed in the weekly tv section that Bachlorette is one Wed and Thurs. I know Wed is two hours and the final rose etc... but what is Thursday?
A chance to talk to the two of them together? The show has been over for a while but they have not been seen together so is it a coming out party?
I can't recall what they did at the end of Bachlor Bob.
Anyone know?
