has anyone used the babysitting services at a WDW resort? What's it like? is it worth a dinner away from the kids?

We used it on our last trip in Sept. 2007. We had thought about using one of the in-room services but figured the kids would enjoy going to the club more than sitting in the room.

When we called for reservations, they helped us choose the club that was closest to the restaurant that we'd be going out to. Our middle daughter is a little tentative (ok, she's scared to death of new things) and was nervous about it all week. However, once she got there and saw the setup, she didn't even say good bye. They gave us a pager to take with us, which really made us feel comfortable. We were gone for 2 hours and when we got back the kids asked us if they could stay longer!

Basically, they considered it one of the highlights of their trip and so did we. We loved having a chance to have some time alone. The bottom line for me was that it was well worth the price because that they had a great time and we had great time, too.
