I have a 5yo and 1yo and am deciding how to cover childcare so my husband and I can go out to eat. Any personal experiences with either the club at RPR or in-room childcare? Do babysitters ever take kids around the hotel? I'm afraid my 5yo will get sick of staying in the room all evening.

FL_Sunshine posts here and has a babysitting service in Orlando. I have not used it , but might for my up coming Aug. trip. She said the sitters will take children to the pool if you request. I don't know much about the kids club either, but I don't think they allow children under a certain age.

Thanks for the info on the babysitting service. The clubs would take my 5yo but not the baby. I'm not sure the pool will be an option in December but maybe they would take them around the hotel. Are you staying at the RPR? I think there is a game room-will you let me know how your babysitting experience goes after your Aug. trip?

We are staying at Portofino. I'll post about the babysitting service if I use them. As far as the pools go, I think they are heated, although I'm not positive.

I just reserved one night at the RP Hotel in Universal for $125.00 with entertainment book. Great Deal, yesterday i had a price of $160.00 for Annual Pass holder. Thanks to this board.
