Baby's Firsts Album

My DN (who was diagnosed with cancer and had brain surgery within 4 months of getting married in 2007), is PREGNANT! We are so excited, because they weren't sure she would be able to conceive after chemo! I want to make her an album for her shower, probably not until next year, and I'd love to get a list of pages you would include in a baby's first album.

I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so if this has already been done, I'd love a link!

How about doing a few non-specific pages or ones that just have cute titles...such as "Never wake a sleeping baby" or "Messy, messy" for a silly first attempt at eating picture.

Congrats to your DN!

I made an album for my BF when she had her little girl a few years ago. Here's the link to the album - when I moved it from another site onto photobucket the pages got all out of order and I never did re-organize them, but you will get the gist.

BTW - whenever I baby-sit, I always pull out the album and flip through it. It was my favorite album I ever did when I finished it, and it's so much better now that it's filled with pictures of my favorite little peanut.

It's beautiful, NEE, thanks for sharing! And, that's the album I'm looking for! They are on clearance at Mike's for $5. I found the boy one, but not the girl one...I have a feeling (and I'm more than 50% right), that she's having a boy, but I'd like to be prepared. I've checked 2 Mike's so far...No girl ones

Why, thank you! I couldn't believe some of the clearance they have...The 12x12 paper pads and albums were all $4.97. I got a girl scout one for Morgan, along with the paper pad. The albums are regularly $30! I think I've talked DH into going to Millbury this morning, hopefully, they'll have one.

Well, I did check my 2 Mike's and no girl albums, but thank you so much for the tip because I picked up a bunch of other really cute albums for $5! I always like the K&Co styles, and you can't beat that price! Did you have any luck?

Thank you so much for checking...I checked another one in Millbury and they didn't have it either. I'll check Joann's, they may have it and I'll use a 50% off coupon. 50% is better than full price, if I can't find it for $5.

I got some really good stuff too...They had the other GS album I didn't have, and the Safari Kids albums were $5 too. I needed more stuff like a hole in the head, but...
