DAY 4 - SUNDAY 6TH MAY - LAST WONDERFUL DAY!!
The plan today had to involve packing up and clearing out of the cabin for 11am. We had already done some packing last night so was just a matter of putting away our last few bits. One last joint photo of us all outside the cabin using the automatic facility on our camera and in the car for 10.55am to be greeted by two cleaners coming in to clean up. We had left 10 E for them on the table.
We drove to the park and again parked in the last block in the first row to be near the moving walkways as Madelanes chest was bad again.
We decided to head straight for the studios this morning and try and get the 12pm performance of the action stunt show. Mum and dad stopped off to get a stroller and me, Madelane and OH went off to find the queue which was massive but moving quickly. We were inside the huge arena within a few minutes and unfortunately didnt get to meet up with my mum and dad who missed the show. We enjoyed it and thought the stunts were great although there was a lot of talking going on compared to the number of actual stunts. It lasted nearly one hour so it was 1pm when we got out and my parents were outside having gone for a quiet brew and bun whilst they waited for us to come out.
Another thing on our list was the studio tram tour so we waited about half an hour for this ride and it still scares me when the fire and water comes out mainly because I have a young child with me and I feel frightened for her. She loved it and remembered what happened from last year.
After this we sat neat the Walt Disney statue on the bench and had a leisurely lunch, home made butties again, mars bars and fried from inside. It was about 2.30pm by the time we ate and Madelane had a bucket of candyfloss and an Ariel Gazillion bubble blower from the nearby stall as a treat after her lunch.
We then went to the Art of Disney tour and enjoyed watching our favs on screen and then the talk about how they create the characters although the lady was speaking so loudly in French that I struggled to hear the translation in English over the headphones - so gave up. Madelane enjoyed the interactive activities at the other end. After this we decided to go on the Armageddon Effects Ride/Tour as we had seen young families going in so thought it must be suitable for children - I dont think it is really suitable for under 5s. Madelane was in tears inside once the effects had started and clung to me with all her might - perhaps if she had not been feeling poorly she would have coped better - I just wanted to get out of there a.s.a.p and was so glad when it was over.
One last walk over to Fantasyland in the Park for one more ride of Madelanes choice which was the Carousel and she had two goes on that. The first time she has ever been on a horse by herself!! And we decided to call it a day as we had to return to CDG and back to hertz rental for 7pm and we needed to fill the tank back up. We waved goodbye to the parks and all said what a wonderful time we all had and began planning our next trip, mon-fri next time in the ranch again for sure!!!!!!
Im so glad that this time around we saw the shows and the extra day really makes a difference once you have done all the autographs and photo opportunites. Its nice to have a rest by watching something different. We will talk about this trip for the next year between ourselves and have lots of lovely photos and videos to watch ..until next time that is!!!!
