Just recently booked trip for Sept. This is our first time at CBR and my
second time GF at Disney. Can anyone tell me if they have Babycakes snacks at the food court or what other GF snacks they have? It would be much appreciated. Just in case I don't have time to go to Babycakes myself.

Looking for quick breakfast ideas, like GF muffins or donuts or such.

Thanks everyone. Can't wait to go.

Girls only trip just me and my DD this time!:)

Thanks in advance!

Last I heard, the only resorts with Babycakes are AoA, BC and BWI.

CBR probably carries the same gluten free desserts as everybody else which basically means OMG It's Gluten free cookies & brownies and Enjoy Life cookies. Some resorts carry Udi's bagels but it's pretty hit and miss and I don't know if any of the resorts carry dedicated gluten free toasters in the kitchen though the kitchen could grill them. Some places might have muffins but that seems to be more miss than hit (you have to ask a chef for them; they aren't out on the shelves).

CBR will have hamburger buns that could be served instead of a biscuit in a breakfast platter or even if you want it just grilled as an alternative to toast or a bagel.

CBR does have Mickey waffles available.

Personally, I can't be bothered buying breakfast at my resort. It takes too long while I'm trying to get ready in the morning, especially since I'm trying to move quickly to get out the door in time to make RD at the parks. Fruit with cereal bars or even cereal in our room is just so much easier and faster. On break days we'll go down to the food court to get waffles.

If you head to DTD then you can buy donuts from Babycakes by the half dozen. They also have loaves which would slice really nicely for a few breakfasts in your room. We kept a loaf of their cornbread in our room fridge one trip and it was still pretty good after 4 or 5 days (we had even better cornbread in our fridge left over from a WCC ADR so we scarfed that down before tackling the Babycakes loaf otherwise it wouldn't have managed to escape us that long).

Thanks for the reply! I saw that AoA had them, so I was hopeful. Only going for 6 days, which is short for me, LOL. So I was thinking JIC we don't get to DTD, I could get breakfast there. I may just have to break down and bring some extra snacks for me. Or hope to get to DTD for Babycakes. Again, thanks

Also, never tried the OMG brand cookies and brownies. Any good? Are they the crunchy kind of cookie?

I haven't tried the brownies because they have milk and I can't have milk. The cookies are pretty good. They're large cookies that are soft but crumbly, not chewy. They taste pretty good. My 12yo prefers them over the Enjoy Life but that's probably as much about us having Enjoy Life on hand at home all the time while OMG is something she only gets at WDW.

Clanmccullogh,

Thanks, that's good to know. I don't mind soft and crumbly. Prefer that over hard and crunchy personally. And I agree with your DD, last time I was there they had french meadow brownies and cookies that weren't available here and I enjoyed them. Now they are available here, so the OMG will be a good change from home.

We are staying at CBR beginning 6/4, and I'm just bringing some oatmeal in individual packs to make with the coffeemaker (not coffee - just hot water). This is for DS6, who is gluten-free. It just seems easier than trying to find him something he can eat for sure.

It's honestly not that hard if you want to get something besides oatmeal.
I am gluten free and also allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, shellfish, oats, coconut, soy, dairy, sesame, bananas, cherries, broccoli, sunflower seeds, honey, and ginger.

At POP last year for breakfast I always had:
GF allergen free waffles
Bacon or sausage
Hashbrwns

It was so nice to be able to have a hot breakfast every morning and the chefs were wonderful.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Disfan07, I know they can make a hot breakfast and I will have that some days. I was thinking on the days I might want something quick. The oatmeal is a good idea, or maybe I'll just grab a banana or something. Thanks all, can't wait to go back. Just me and my DD this time!

BeveMom, Let me know how your trip in June goes, for your eating experiences and how it goes at CBR. It's our first time at this resort. If you don't mind. Thanks in advance!! :thumbsup2
