I've been to DL several times, but I've never done the baby swap before. We're going to DL and DCA the week before Thanksgiving with our two children, one who is 5 and the other is 17 months old. Here is my question - Can we leave the baby in the stroller while we are in line or do we have to take the baby out and hold him? Is this allowed? I sure hope it's allowed because holding a big 17 month old boy is a lot harder than lets say holding a 10 month old. At 17 months a child gets heavy pretty quickly and they're into everything. Please let me know how this baby swap thing works, if strollers are allowed in line, and can our five year old ride twice during a baby swap, once with mom and once with dad?

Thanks for all the great suggestions and advice!

You will need to leave your stroller in the "stroller parking"

But, you shouldn't have to wait in line. After the first parents gets off the ride with the older child the second parent can gon on w/o waiting, usually through the exit.
